Here's a fun little fact about our furry pals: while dogs can devour just about anything, there are certain foods that can turn them from happy pups into not-so-happy campers! 🚫🍫

Take grapes, for instance. You might think they're a healthy snack, but they're actually a big no-no for dogs. Just a handful can lead to kidney failure! 😱 And don’t get me started on chocolate—because, let’s be real, if dogs could have a sweet tooth, chocolate would be their first choice! 🍫 But it’s a serious danger.

Xylitol, often found in sugar-free gum and some peanut butter, is another sneaky ingredient that can wreak havoc on a dog’s health. It drops their blood sugar and can lead to liver failure! Yikes!

Meet Savannah
10-year-old female she somehow lost her family, so she has no one in the world other than the wonderful person who found her, and has brought her in temporarily.

Up-to-date with her shots spayed looking for a family to love her.
-She would be good with another cat around her age. She still wants to play, and loves to cuddle
-Not tested with dogs, but I wouldn’t recommend it. Might be too much in her retirement years.
-No issues with eating, drinking, urine or bowel output. Ears, mouth, and fur all look good

She loves to purr, be brushed, and loves chin scratches. When she is really happy she will make biscuits.

Savannah, has been Found, the owner we have registered for her
no longer has either phone number they provided us. She was adopted out in 2015 and she has been found outside, cold and thin.

She has been brought in by a very kind person trying to help keep her safe.
We are desperately looking for her previous owners, please if you know the Patterson‘s or have any contact information please let us know.
She was found in the Barrie area.
