Fredericton Animal Hospital has an immediate opening for a full-time Client Care Representative (receptionist) to join our team. We are looking for a friendly, service-oriented individual with a passion for delivering a high standard of care to both clients and patients.

Client care representatives play a crucial role in our success, so if you love being an essential part of a team while using your skill set to make a difference to clients and patients, then you are the candidate we are looking for!
A typical day in a vet hospital is fast paced, challenging and can be draining, but the ideal candidate thrives in this kind of environment. You love meeting people and making positive connections but can also handle difficult situations with aplomb. You have excellent communication skills and are comfortable educating clients about products and treatments available to them.
In this position, you will be responsible for answering general queries (by phone, email and text), scheduling appointments, greeting clients, selling food, providing education about
vaccines and other medical services, handling cash and invoicing clients, making reminder calls and emails, and other client service and administrative duties. You will also communicate with
the medical team regarding client queries, scheduling needs and update medical records as needed.
Experience working in a veterinary environment is an asset, however we also encourage those with strong customer service experience gained from working in appointment-based environments to apply. Basic math skills and proficiency using Word, Excel, Outlook and web based software are required. Our ideal candidate has strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail and possesses the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
