October is RVT Appreciation month when we take time out to thank our veterinary technicians for the incredible work they do each and every day. Vet techs are the backbone of every vet clinic and hospital and without them we would be lost in a sea of lab results, patient charts and pharmacy requests! They are truly the glue that holds every practice together. Their hard work, dedication and expertise make sure that every patient gets the best medical care, while they juggle multiple tasks behind the scenes with skill and precision. From keeping appointments running smoothly to staying late to ensure everything is ready for tomorrow's surgeries, we rely on our vet techs to keep everything running on track. Thank you RVT's for all you do for FAH, our patients and our clients.

🌟 Meet Dr. Ayokunle Olusemoyin! 🌟
We’re thrilled to welcome Dr. Olusemoyin to our team at FAH as part of our commitment to supporting growth and fostering diversity within the Canadian veterinary community.

Dr. Olusemoyin graduated from the University of Ibadan in Nigeria and brings over seven years of experience in veterinary medicine. After relocating to Canada in 2019, he became a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) and proudly became a Canadian citizen in 2022! 🇨🇦

Through our collaboration, we’re integrating Restricted DVMs into our team, bringing diverse perspectives while empowering vets like Dr. Olusemoyin to flourish in the Canadian veterinary field. We are excited to work alongside him and his supervisor, Dr. Ali Reid, to deliver top-tier care to our furry patients and expand our impact on the community.

Stay tuned—Dr. Olusemoyin will soon be seeing patients, and we will be accepting new clients in November!

Here at FAH, we have 3 talented VA's that play an integral role in ensuring our hospital's daily operations run smoothly. Their compassion, skill, and tireless efforts make a significant difference in the lives of pets and their owners, and of course our team. Whether it's comforting a patient after surgery, assisting with complex procedures, or simply offering a friendly smile, their contributions are invaluable we would be lost without their help!
