KhylarCreek Labrador Retrievers & German Shepherds is a small hobby kennel. We currently have adults and a couple of puppies coming along. We have been CKC registered since 2003. We believe in a sweet temperament, easy to live with, yet able to go to the obedience class, agility class or out in the field retrieving ducks without any concerns. Keeping the breed standard in mind we breed only when w

e want a puppy to keep. In 2021 we added a sweet German Shepherd after many years. We started with this breed over 20 years ago and are excited to have them back in our home. We look forward to providing information about what our dogs and puppy families are up to.

A good reminder about socialization as our pups enter their last couple of weeks with us before heading to their new homes. Socialization is not "pass the puppy" or throw them into every situation. A lot of the time it is watch from a distance and a lot of advocating for your puppy that people can't pet your pup.

Gertie is being a great mom. The babies were introduced to the other dogs this evening. Ailyn does many checks on them each day as Gertie is her BFF, and Olive can't wait until she can sneak their food from them.
