Happy New Year 🫶🏼 2024 was a great year for the most part and I’m so grateful for each client and business I helped; whether it was a commissioned decor sign, a meaningful faceless portrait, or bringing your logo to life. I have so many exciting projects (including a 4 foot by 4 foot logo sign!!) lined up for this winter already and I cannot wait to dig back into orders over the next couple weeks ✨

I’ve been dreaming of creating a gift certificate that was on brand, minimalist and earthy and I’m so happy to be able to offer you the gift of a little this holiday season. When I first started making wood signs and wanted to expand into more than the traditional farmhouse style, I stumbled upon ‘s page and was instantly mesmerized on that talent that Lizzy has. Before finding her page, I had never even heard of a scroll saw and seeing her completed logo signs set the bar so high for me. I was so eager to learn that I saved her posts, watched her stories to learn all the tips and tricks she’s shared, and bought her intro to scroll saw courses and spray painting tips and tricks to learn from the best in an industry I am so blessed to be a part of. Whenever she’d share her newest pieces I would always say “someday I wanna do that, and “when I grow up I want to make signs like Lizzy” 🤣. Being a woman in woodworking in a small town can be isolating sometimes, especially when there isn’t anyone to learn the ropes from or to show me how to use machinery. I just hope for the best and so far it’s worked out 😂

When my client reached out with this logo, I honestly didn’t think I could do it. I knew I wanted to try, but I didn’t think I’d be able to recreate it like I did- but to my surprise it turned out even better than I imagined. I’m so grateful and blessed my client had the trust and faith in me to give this logo life like it deserved 🙏🏽

I know this is a long post but I guess the point is to never limit yourself and to try the hard things because you’re fully capable of anything you set your mind to 💞

Delivered this newly designed logo sign to the wonderful staff at yesterday afternoon! The team over there is so lovely and I loved creating this piece for them. They had a sign that they wanted a fresh on so I designed a few alternate choices and they chose this one (and it was my favourite)!

my story

Hi there! I’m the creative/crafter over here at the fashionable crafter in Fredericton, New Brunswick. I make country and rustic décor, as well as classic and girlie designs. I am inspired by nature (where are my fellow antler lovers at?!) and equally as inspired by my fashion idols Kate Spade and Coco Chanel. All of my products are things I want in my own home someday and nothing ever leaves my craft room without me being 100% pleased with how it turned out.

Although I create a lot of generic items, I love receiving custom orders and trying new things. Some of my best sellers were just created on a whim as a custom order and the rest, as they say, is history. ​I had always known I wanted to own my own business; so a couple years after graduating with my BBA from the University of New Brunswick I did just that. My first Christmas I specialized in wreaths, and the following year I added mugs and plates with quotes and words on them to my product line. This past year, I have begun making wood signs, glasses with vinyl on them, and even cake toppers! ​I absolutely love how diverse the fashionable crafter is becoming and I’m so grateful and blessed with how much support I am getting from my beautiful customers. I am truly the happiest when I’m fulfilling orders in my craft room, with country music playing and my craft buddy (my Golden Retriever) Hunter, by my side. ​ If you have an idea or a solid plan of something you want me to make for you, get in touch with me via email, inbox, text, or phone.
