We have this term at our barn and it's "Shy's personal horse" which refers to a horse that is supposed to only be ridden by Shy but ends up being the barn favourite and is used in lessons. Geanie is "Shy's personal horse".

Geanie did her first riding lesson today and safe to say she is a natural. Daliah will be using her as her project horse for 4H and I'm excited to see where this team goes!

I have sold out my Fredericton stock for the week and it's only Thursday! I will be grabbing a fresh batch Sunday night from the farm! If you can't wait for fresh eggs and maybe want to take a nice fall drive, the fridge at the farm is still fully stocked for self serve!

White Hills Pony Club Show Day 2
I know I say this a lot but I am truly so proud of both horse and rider! Last Sunday they rode their best lesson yet, then Thursday they set a new personal best dressage score then beat it 5 minutes later as well as cantered in front of a judge for the first time! Then Friday we headed to Riverside Albert for the White Hills Show, Daliah competed in ponies over poles and walk trot divisions and I took Ace in w/t/c and cross rails and this team was almost unrecognizable! The week was going so well that of course not one but two trailer tires had to blow on the way home from the show🤦🏻‍♀️ but thanks to everyone's help and a very good little red (hitchhiking) pony it was still the best week!

I would like to say thank you to the horse show community!
Today I blew not only my first but my second tire on the horse trailer after leaving the White Hills Pony Club Show and I don't know about anyone else but I only ever think to carry one spare tire!
I would like to thank Heather Touchie Blakely for supplying Ace with water and putting out the word to try and find another spare! Thank you Katie Long for taking Ace and making sure he got home safe! Thank you Andy Thomson for the spare (5 bolt pattern a rare find turns out), And thank you to everyone who stopped and helped us along the way, I can't express how grateful I am!!!
