Thank you so much to the Howes for letting the Triangle 4H Club 🍀 tour their dairy barn today! All the kids had an amazing time learning about the robot and what goes into operating a dairy farm as well as getting to see the cows🐮🐄

Hello everyone I have had over 20 new inquiries about riding lessons this week! It makes me so excited for the warmer seasons. If you or your child is interested in lessons or have any questions please reach out I would be happy to chat!

Due to the unpredictable footing of the snow I am taking intermidiate to advanced riders by appointment, I do not teach beginner riders in the winter it is just to much of a risk for the riders and horses. BUT! This spring I will have lots of spaces open for lessons and encourage all levels to join! I do not have what times will be available at this time but keep an eye out for April!

I am still accepting clients in the Fredericton/Oromocto area for lessons at your facility; please reach out for more details.

Happy Groundhog day! Geanie has already let us know that spring is coming and started shedding! Just in time for the Triangle 4-H light horse club to learn about grooming for their meeting.🍀

Today we had the Triangle 4H🍀 Light Horse Crew 🐎 out to review parts of the saddle and bridle for our 6th meeting of the year!

Today the Triangle 4H Light Horse Club went to the NBEX Equestrian Tradeshow! We made lots of connections for upcoming events for the year and learned about lots of businesses and services!

Today the Triangle 4H Light Horse club learned about what goes into an equine facility and drew themselves a new barn for their project horse. They covered what type of fencing, the type of bedding they will use, where they are going to store their hay and even managing their manure pile.
Lots of things to think about when you have your own barn!🐎

This year was one of the worst and also one of the best❤️ I Lost two of the best horses I will likely ever have, and even though my heart is still broken, I still believe everything happens for a reason. This year we were supposed to use Dainty for the majority of our show season this was going to be her and Daliah's year and then I would school Ace, but plans change.

But I don't want to talk about what didn't happen I want to talk about what did.

Daliah beat her personal best in both her walk trot dressage tests then did it again at the next event a few weeks later.

Daliah cantered in front of a judge for the first time.

We went to the White Hill Pony club show this was Ace's first show with out a buddy and Ace's first time successfully doing the walk trot and Making it around the hunter ring.

We took the month of August off to focus on lessons and was pleasantly surprised to come to the barn and find that my dad had brought home Geanie to be my next project.

Our next show was the Carlton County Classic Ace and Daliah moved up from walk trot to Juniors!

Our last show of the year was the NB PEI Regional Dressage Show and Daliah and Ace rode their best tests to this day and placed first.

Daliah jumped for the first time!!

I got back into consistently riding and competing again.

Geanie did her first outing with us on a 4 plus hour group trail ride, this was Daliah's first time riding her.

Daliah rode her first lesson on Geanie and just like that my project horse grows up.

I began leading the triangle 4H light horse club and Daliah decided to join me as a member and use Geanie as her project horse.

A lot has happened this year and even more has changed. I am so proud of how grown up my little red man has gotten and grateful for our newest addition. I am excited for 2025 but I will remember all of the achievements of 2024 and all the horses we left behind🤎🖤

We have this term at our barn and it's "Shy's personal horse" which refers to a horse that is supposed to only be ridden by Shy but ends up being the barn favourite and is used in lessons. Geanie is "Shy's personal horse".

Geanie did her first riding lesson today and safe to say she is a natural. Daliah will be using her as her project horse for 4H and I'm excited to see where this team goes!

We were able to squeeze one more trail ride in today before deer season started.☀️ I'm happy to have My favorite trail to the Wood lot open again!
