The strong colours never disappoint, the textures of shells and the odd shapes that randomly come are three of my top favourite things about free-range eggs.

The deep sage green eggs have to be my most treasured 💚

I love the freckles that some eggs have. They always remind me of summer freckles that appear on our cheeks from the warm sun ☀️

Not to worry, our eggs are kept cool in their coops and once washed! Their "freckles" are calcium deposits on the shell. They dont affect the inside egg whatsoever 🤭🤓

Spring is in the brisk air that surrounds us this morning, and it's beautiful 😍

The eggs are coming in slowly, but surely, a few hens want to sit, so why not let them.
A couple of duck hens are also sitting on eggs.
