As we look back on 2024, we are filled with gratitude and pride for all the incredible moments and milestones we've shared with our community, volunteers, donors, and, of course, the animals we've had the privilege of helping. 🐾
Here are just a few highlights from an unforgettable year:
🐱 **Adopted & Loved**: We found forever homes for many cats and kittens, each with their own special journey. From kittens to senior cats, we're so grateful to our adopters for giving these animals the love they deserve!
❤️ **Rescue & Rehabilitation**: This year, we took in many cats and kittens that needed rescue, providing them with the medical care, rehabilitation, and love they needed to thrive. Every recovery story is a testament to the hard work of our dedicated team and supporters.
💪 **Community Support**: Thanks to the generosity of our donors, sponsors, and volunteers, we were able to continue our essential programs, including spay/neuter initiatives and emergency medical care. Your support made it all possible!
🎉 **Fundraisers & Events**: Our events this year – from the Pancake and Maple Syrup Fundraiser to our Gift Card Tree Raffle – were a huge success! Every penny raised helps us continue our mission to improve the lives of animals in our care.

Furball Cruise 2024 was a phenomenal success, raising $3,232 and bringing together people from all walks of life. 🌟

Loretta & her kittens are doing ok, although the wee ones have a little bit of a cold right now. At the moment Loretta is feeling a bit under the weather and not producing the amount of milk the babies need, so we're supplementing them with kitten formula to help them thrive.💞🐾
GDHS has a new furry friend joining our family today! Meet Rumble! This adorable ball of fluff just arrived at our shelter and is already stealing hearts with his sweet personality. Stay tuned for more updates as Rumble settles in and gets ready to find his forever home.

Dot is doing so well with her new specialized rescue, Heidi's Kitty Haven.
Dot has Wobbly Cat Syndrome but has made some friends and plays just like a regular kitten.
