Think the squished faces are adorable? They're skulls are too small for their brains, eyes and nose canals. They end up in shelters because owners cannot afford their extensive vet bills due to their poor health, most end up with psychological issues and can become hard to manage in their adulthood. Please don't buy flat faced dogs.

Brachycephalic dogs are adorable. But, those cute, smushed faces come at a price, and not just in terms of how much money it costs to buy from a breeder.

Had a great time today with my new clients Jenelle and Hendrix, a 10 month old Norwegian Elkhound, such a happy boy! He's learning so fast, second session and I'm very impressed with the progress over the last 4 days! Working on luring/heel and leash pressure training today. Janelle was spot on when she took over the lead outside, I was having so much fun training I forgot my camera inside lol here's a couple snaps from our tune up inside.
