Rory, Inara, Hennie and Garcie enjoying a new round of hay. We gave them an undone round to eat and destroy so they could have a warm place to lie down in these freezing temperatures.

My biggest fear is that one of these horses will get cold. Constantly checking in to make sure no one was shivering, adding extras blankets and liners. Ensuring they had more than enough hay, warming their dinners, ensuring waters were good, shelters were good. I'll tell you the last 3 days felt like a week. But we managed to keep everyone warm and mostly happy (I mean it was minus 32 with the windchill, so I know everyone was dreaming of the sun coming back).

Jamie and Georgia sharing some love. I love this boy. He is definitely the sweetest. His personality has changed so much over the last few months. Whenever I call him he comes running in jumping. He is the leader, him and his "wife" Athena have a beautiful bond. They really enjoy their herd of 4, along with Stawberry and Maverick. I love watching horses flourish and find their herdmates.

As a Barn owner, especially when we have horses with such different needs, I think it's important to feed grain at least 1x a day. Some say they get fat on air. For those a Ration Balancer would be perfect for that horse.
Just like us, each horse has different requirements.
I personally own a 22 year old Throughbread, who can be a hard keeper. While she did well this summer on a RB, she has since moved back to her Senior Feed. As the seasons start to change and the grass starts growing a little slower. We dont wait to see if she will drop a bit. I have a gelding that doesn't require anything more than the RB and Camelina oil.
Feed is not a one size fits all. It's finding what your horse requires and making sure they are getting that. We will work with your feed regime.
All the grain and supplements you supply will only be used for your horse. We do not share/borrow any of yours for another horse.
Included in outdoor board is 1x a day grain (Grain & Supplements provided by owner). We also suppy beet pulp/ hay cubes. If your horse requires more than 1x a day grain we offer add ons to your board to make it right for you and your horse.
