Recently we lost our boy, Zissou. The sweetest dog with a heart of gold. Never once a mean thought, always happy, always loyal, always devoted to his favorite human, Gavin. We are heartbroken with his passing. Thank you for understanding while we took some time off to mourn the loss of our special guy. He will be forever missed.

⚠️Spear grass warning!

It's spear grass season and I've been finding lots of spears in dogs lately. These nasty little things are barbed and once they've pe*****ted skin they will continue to work their way in deeper which can cause lots of problems for your pet.

The most common place I find them are in between toes but they can become lodged in eyes, ears, and noses. If inhaled they can even pe*****te your dogs lungs.

To be safe, keep your dogs out of long grassy areas and check in between toes often, especially with dogs with longer or thicker hair.
