LAST MINUTE CANCELLATIONS / NO SHOWS

Hi everyone. Lately I’ve been having way too many no shows. As a small business owner, this is incredibly frustrating seeing as this is how I pay my bills. Effective immediately, any no show appointments will be subject to pay 100% of their missed appointment cost upon rebooking.

Any appointment cancelled within 24 hours will be subject to pay 50% of their scheduled appointment cost.

I understand life is busy and things come up. I try my best to send reminders but even still I have people not showing up.

Hey everyone! It’s been a while 🙂

I just wanted to let everyone know I have some room for a few new clients, 20lbs and under. Spread the word! 😂

For now I’m still only doing Wednesday-Friday, but come the end of May/early June that will be changing to Tuesday-Thursday and still one Saturday a month.

‼️OPENING UPDATE!!‼️ (please read entire post ☺️)

Hello everyone!

I finally have a return date. I will be returning to work 3 DAYS A WEEK ONLY (Wed-Fri) on June 8. I will be doing ONE Saturday a month. Also, and this part is very difficult for me to type, but…. Going forward, I will only be booking small dogs. I understand this sucks to hear, but after giving it a ridiculous amount of thought (and tears) I’ve decided this is what’s best. It’s not just myself I need to look out for now, I have a daughter and finishing work and crashing on the couch until bedtime because I’m so sore is not an option anymore. I will miss some of my larger clients SO much and wish you all the best of luck in finding a new groomer.

As much as this sucks to hear, I really hope you can understand where I’m coming from. With the auto immune disease I have, my body goes through “flares” which affect it from top to bottom, including joint pain and inflammation. On these days even tiny dogs are difficult but definitely not as hard on me as the larger breeds.

As for booking, I’m going to require clients to pre book their next appointment at each appointment. This will ensure your pup gets in when he/she needs to without an issue.

‼️Also, and I’m sure you all saw this coming… there will be a price increase. Unfortunately my cost of living has gone up with everybody else’s, and that includes supplies, bills, etc.‼️

Hey everyone! Thought I’d give you all a quick update.

Miss Polly Elizabeth was born February 9! We are both doing well and adjusting great. :)

I am still NOT BOOKING appointments at this time. I’m thinking end of May - early June, but I will let you all know when I know for sure!

It’s that time of year again! I’ve already got quite a few dogs booked in for Christmas, so if you want your pup done for the holidays (current, regular clients ONLY) msg me ASAP to book! Please keep in mind that come December I will be 7 months pregnant and **NOT** able to do as many dogs a day as I usually do. I will NOT be overbooking myself this year!

Hello lovely clients! I haven’t posted in a while and this post comes with some big news. Hubby and I are expecting our first baby February, 2022 👶🏻 that being said, I will no longer be able to do ANY lifting of larger dogs until after the baby is born. Owners will have to make sure their dogs are on the table when they drop them off and unfortunately if they’re a dog I need to lift in and out of the tub (they won’t walk in off the table) unless the owner stays I won’t be able to do them. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I know this is unfortunate for a lot of you but there really isn’t much I can do about it.

I am not 100% sure how long I will be taking off come 2022 but rest assured I will be back! 😂

That being said, I’m once again a bit behind. Not quite as bad as last year (thankfully!!) however there will still be a bit more of a wait at this time for an appointment.

You can bring your dog into the shop. Please keep in mind:

MASKS ARE MANDATORY when you enter the shop.

ONE PERSON at a time in the shop.

There is sanitizer here when you come in, I’ll ask that you use it.

Please minimize the amount of “clothing” your dog has on. A collar and a leash is acceptable.

Please call, txt or message me for an appointment! If I don’t get back to you right away, bear with me. I’m doing my best. 😁

‼️‼️CLOSURE ANNOUNCEMENT‼️‼️

Hi all. I’ve unfortunately made the very difficult decision to close for a couple of weeks. A lot of you don’t know this, but since the last closure I received a diagnosis that puts me in the “immunocompromised” category, and with the rising cases my anxiety is THROUGH. THE. ROOF. Therefore, my shop will be closed as of Monday, May 10.

Trust me, I know it sucks. I KNOW. I just feel that this is the right thing to do for myself and my family right now.

Thank you for understanding. I will be in contact with those with upcoming appointments.

I AM OPEN! 🐶🐶

False alarm! Groomers can remain open as long as all protocols are followed. Therefore:

- Contactless drop off and pick up is a MUST. There will be a leash attached to my fence outside on which you can put your dog and I will come out and get them.
- DO NOT enter my shop. Those of you who stop in to make appointments will now have to call or send me a message.
- Sanitize your hands before and after you hook your dog.
- If there is another client in my driveway before you, please stay IN YOUR VEHICLE until that client leaves.
- Cash payments can be put in my mailbox.

Any questions don’t hesitate to ask. If you’re not comfortable with the protocols, I cannot take your dog at this time. If you are just not comfortable coming to your appointment in general, let me know and I’ll put you on my reschedule list for when things are back to “normal”.

❤️ To all of my lovely clients - I have some news. My prices are increasing. Some of you are already aware, but to those that aren’t - all small-medium sized dogs will increase by $10-15 and all larger breeds by $20-25. I realize this seems like a significant jump, but I’m now 5 years into my business and have never raised my prices. I’ve recently come to realize my prices are WAY below industry standard and with the increasing costs of running my shop this is the only way around it. This increase will take effect starting Monday, May 3. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation! 🐶🐶🐶
