This handsome boy was caught in someone’s garage overnight and has been frequenting it nightly!

He has a green N tattooed on his right ear, neutered, and a microchip, he’s probably 2-3 yrs old and is very friendly, if this is your cat please let us know!

UPDATE: Daisy has found her furever home!!! Thanks for everyone’s interest!

Sweet little Daisy is looking for her furever home!!

She’s a golden retriever x!

She’s a sweet little lady about 3 months old and has been working on sit, lay down, and shake a paw!

She does well on a leash, and is working on potty training! She’s a puppy and needs someone who understands that a puppy is a puppy, she’s the goodest girl who needs love and consistency like all doggos do! She’s very smart and willing to learn!

Has had fun times with kids, cats and other dogs!

Update on Monroe!

She’s doing great! She’s been spayed, vaccinated (will just need a booster in a couple weeks), is off pain meds and antibiotics!

We have opened up adoptions! We have tried to contact all who were interested and sent out application forms!

If you have not received an application form and are interested please call us and we will grab your email to send it out!

Deadline to apply is November 10!!!

We will go through the applications after that and take a week or so to try and pick her best match of a home!!

Update on Monroe!

Monroe has been doing quite well, she’s off fluids, and has been eating on her own! She loves people food so she’s mostly been chowing down on chicken, so much that she even dances for it!! We are trying to mix dog food with it slowly to get her adjusted!

She’s now just on oral antibiotics and pain meds. She’s begun opening up more now that’s she’s feeling better, she loves to snuggle, loves the outdoors, and has been doing great in the kennel!

Our phones are back working, things may be a bit different when calling now. Instead of a busy signal you will be asked to leave a message or call back if nobody is available to pick up the call. Let’s hope these next weeks of transition go smooth!

Monroe is starting to feel a bit better. Going for small walks, and seems to be happier. She will still be in clinic recovering on fluids and antibiotics and pain medications until we can get her eating on her own Keep watching here for her updates❤️

Hoping you saw the post on the page with the correct address and were able to do your donation. Our apologies once again. Your kindness was wonderful. Please if your etransfer didn’t work know that we have raised enough to cover her costs and a donation to other rescues will help them just as much as it has helped Monroe.❤️❤️

Monroe Adoption!

We will not be replying to these emails as we had had so many inquiries!

Once Monroe is on the road to recovery ❤️‍🩹 and is ready to find that special home we will start contacting potential applicants! There will be an application process and the best home will be chosen!

Monroe Update!

We are so overwhelmed with all the support and love of donations we have received about Monroe and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for it!

We have guesstimated that her current vet bill is sitting at $2500-$3000 which not only includes her recovery and hospitalization but will also include her spay, vaccines, a collar, leash, a toy, and some food to get her settled in a new home.

We have received around $3,875!!!!

We no longer require any more donations!!! We will keep the excess amount on the bill for any unforeseen costs!

We ask that if you still want to help an animal in need to please consider donations to one of the many amazing rescues around so they can also continue to help those in need ♥️

Thank you all so much for your love for Monroe . The response for donating and adopting has been wonderful. We are trying to answer emails about sending money for her as fast as we can. For updates on her health please follow this page. We are working on an estimate of cost for her recovery and to get her set up in a new home, we will post that and the amount of donations we have received for her in the next couple of days. If you wish etransfer can be sent to [email protected]. Please use Morden Vet Clinic in the name spot, no password is needed but in the memo area out Acct #12222 for Monroe so we can direct the funds to the proper account. Credit cards can
be taken over the phone.

UPDATE ON OUR INJURED DOG FROM YESTERDAY

She has been officially surrendered to us as the previous owner can’t afford her ongoing treatment costs. So if anyone wants to give her a forever home or help with her medical bill please call us at the Glenboro Vet Clinic @ 204-827-2546!

Her name is Monroe and she’s a 2 yr old Beagle born August 15, 2021 who is unspayed, has had at least 1 litter of pups, and has been vaccinated before but is due for vaccinations.

X-rays confirmed she was shot in the head at least 3 times. She has shrapnel in many places throughout her nose, head, and near her spine. Fortunately surgery is not required at this time and her recovery will consist of being kept on fluids, IV antibiotics and pain medication until she feels better and eating. The previous owner was not responsible for shooting her and was very upset with her condition and the situation and hopes that she can go to a good home.

She is currently hooked up to IV fluids, on pain medication, and antibiotics. She will require time to heal. While in our care she has been very sweet to work with, even with the extreme pain she is in, she has not tried to bite and hasn’t reacted negatively to anything we have done.
