Worried your dog might have cancer? Here are 🐾 Signs and Symptoms of Cancer in Dogs 🐶

As pet owners, it's vital to keep an eye on our animals for any unusual changes. Here are some common signs that may indicate cancer in dogs:

1. Unexplained Weight Loss: Rapid or significant weight loss without changes in diet or exercise.
2. Lumps or Bumps: New growths or changes in existing lumps—always get them checked to see if they are cancerous - or interfering with normal function.
3. Chronic Coughing or Difficult Breathing: Persistent coughing or labored breathing can be concerning.
4. Changes in Appetite: Sudden loss of appetite or reluctance to eat.
5. Excessive Lethargy: Lack of energy or a noticeable decrease in activity levels.
6. Difficulty Walking or Abnormal Posture: Limping, difficulty standing, or unusual movements.
7. Vomiting or Diarrhea: Frequent vomiting or changes in stool consistency.
8. Changes in Bathroom Habits: Increased urination or difficulty urinating.
9. Bad Breath or Oral Issues: Foul-smelling breath, difficulty eating, or bleeding gums.

💔 If you notice any of these symptoms, consult your veterinarian for a thorough evaluation. Early detection can make a significant difference! Even if cancer isn't the diagnosis, any of those changes in your dog can be from a medical condition.

Proud to support you and your passion for the Newfoundland Ponies.

I truly believe you will to be an asset to the society and wish you luck in becoming a Director at Large.

I know you already are bringing attention to the ponies, as your friends are signing up to become members for 2025!

Hi everyone! My name is Kelesha Crewe and I am one of 5 nominations for the 3 Director at Large positions for the Newfoundland Pony Society for 2025.
I just wanted to post a little bit about myself for those of you who may not know me.
I am 35 years old have been involved with horses and ponies since I was 10-12 years old. I started riding around 12 and the rest is history.
I currently have 2 horses and 2 Newfoundland Ponies (one stud c**t who was born here with me in 2023, and one mare who is pregnant).
I am good friends with Netta LeDrew, who is well known in the pony world and I have had experience handling, training and helping her with her Newfoundland ponies over the years.
I am currently a Director at Large for the Newfoundland Equestrian Association and didn’t put my name forth for 2025 as my heart lies with the Newfoundland Pony and I wanted to get more involved with the pony society if possible.
I am currently enrolled in an equine breeding course through the University of Guelph on Management of the Broodmare, Stallion and Foal.
I have shown my horses in the summer time throughout the province for years and I also attend and host clinics. A lot of the horse people of Newfoundland know me well but I feel as though the Newfoundland Pony people of the province are a different world of equestrians and I would like to change that. I feel that if we could merge these two “worlds” together we could bring a lot more recognition to the pony.
I feel that I could bring a lot to the table if I get voted in for this position on the board and I would absolutely appreciate the vote! Thanks for reading and happy voting!

Feel free to share with your pony friends!

“Voting instructions and package will be sent to all eligible voters on or before November 3rd in accordance with the Constitution, which also provides that only those members in good standing as of August 31st in an election year are eligible to vote. Ballots must be returned to the Election Chair in accordance with these instructions on or before November 15th. You may enquire of the Election Chair if you have a question about your eligibility to vote”.
