Dr. Kayvan Mahdavikhazaei

We would like to welcome Dr Kayvan to our practice. Kayvan became a licensed member of the CVO in July 2024. Kayvan joined our practice in August of 2024. He fit right into our culture and hospital staff. We are excited to have him.

Kayvan is an ancient Persian name. In 2018 Kayvan embarked on his career in pharmaceuticals. Despite being successful, he longed for clinical practice and making a difference in pets' well-being. He then went and worked in clinics in the Toronto area to gain his experience and his love for the profession. Surgery is his passion. When in hospital, he takes care of his patients and strives for their best outcome. His dedication to his "call" to be a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine is outstanding.

In addition to veterinary medicine, Kayvan spends time with his wife Mona. He is an avid reader of classic literature, philosophy, history, linguistics and cinema. He has an ever-growing personal library and private home theater called "Cinema Paradiso"

Its Time for our "what will they say game". Starting tomorrow until we are out. We will pull a "common saying" out of a hat every morning at 9 am and the first person who uses that saying that day in the clinic , gets our "sweet smelling gift". Only one winner per day.
