Over the past few weeks we have had a increasing amount of bird rescues.
Normally it's pretty regular but this time around seems to be a little more then usual.
We have our first sets of birds up for adoption. I usually don't like saying what kind but I'm hoping it helps.

1) ALL of our birds have adoption fees .
2) we do not ship
3) MUST BE IN CANADA and able to come to our store.

I'm hoping to find these guys some homes before the next round comes out of quarantine.

We have
2- separate conures
1- cockatiel
2- pair of budgies
1- single cockatoo (not for people with children. Not a first time bird)

We will be hosting an adoption event on Saturday June 29th and Sunday June 30th with .bayfieldsforgottenfelines. They will be here 11am - 4pm both days!
We are still raising money for Pet Appreciation Month for Bayfields Forgotten Felines! Help us reach our goal before the end of June! All donations get a paw that will be put up somewhere around our store, have you donated? Come try and find your paw!

once again this extraordinary group of people have reached out to support us and CORINA (aka Gladys ) we have now raised the funds to have her full mouth extraction done. She will once again be a happy lap loving girl.
We have booked her surgery for July 8. We will keep you posted on her recovery and then her search for her forever home.

We couldn’t do what we do without the support from all of you!! 🙏

This sweet girl is in need of a full mouth dental extraction
She has developed what is called stomatitis it is an allergic reaction to the plaque on her teeth. It is life threatening as it will poison her system - it is very painful and makes eating very difficult. She is on painkillers and an antibiotic but this is a very short term solution. She needs to have the surgery and given our current financial commitments for 60 kittens we don’t have the funds in our budget - if you are able to Donate to Corina’s care you can do so by

Have you met Jinx yet???
This sweet guy is up for adoption at our store!
He was at .bayfieldsforgottenfelines for a while and has now come to us to help find his forever home!
He's approximately 9 years old and a very friendly guy. Jinx was found out in the cold and had lost his ears to frostbite.
Since Jinx has been at our store we have learned:
He gets along well with dogs of all sizes
Enjoys cuddles and napping in the sun
Loves going for cart rides
Catnip toys are his favorite!
