I just had a moment of intense, misplaced confidence. A lovely, long time client showed up for her dog’s drop-off, and I was absolutely certain she was a full 24 hours early.
She started trying to calculate the days, so I dramatically whipped out my scheduling app like I was serving a warrant. A quick glance later, and the warrant was served on me.
Turns out, I was the one living in yesterday. Always trust the customer who is calculating on their fingers over the one who thinks they know their calendar! Deuceeegirl, you were exactly on time!

Did you know❓The wild canine moves with purpose in a relatively straight line to conserve energy. The hind foot often lands in the front foot’s print (direct register).
Whereas a domestic dog’s trail is more meandering, with zig-zags, circles, and irregular spacing, reflecting an exploratory or playful nature.

We are SO excited to welcome your furry family members for a fun, safe, and tail-wagging stay! To make sure everyone is happy and healthy while they play, here’s a friendly reminder about Ontario’s kennelling requirements. Getting these done is the first step toward a worry-free vacation for both of you!
✨ The Essentials (Core Vaccines):
• Rabies: This is legally required across Ontario—a must-have for all happy pups!
• DA2PP (Distemper/Parvo): Essential protection to keep all our boarding buddies safe.
✨ The Important Prep Step:
• Bordetella (Kennel Cough): Trillium Woods Kennel requires this! 🚨 Pro Tip: Please ensure your dog receives this shot at least 2 weeks before boarding! This is a live virus and it gives the vaccine time to become fully effective.
If your dog loves the great outdoors, I highly recommend to talk to your vet about non-core vaccines like Leptospirosis, Lyme Disease and flea and tick prevention.
Let’s Get Ready!
1. Check Your Records: Make sure those vaccine dates are current.
2. Call Your Vet: Book those boosters early to meet the 2-week Bordetella window!
3. Confirm with Us: Always give us a quick call to confirm our specific requirements before your stay.

Drying a Golden Retriever puppy has to be one of the most adorable forms of entertainment, everything is their absolute favourite thing🤗.

Willow went full mud-monster, and now she’s a soggy, fluffy burrito of betrayal. Send help, am alone and under siege from mud mutts.🐶

Don’t worry, Willow is dry, brushed out, and mud free.. for now🐾
