At Tucked Inn, ensuring every dog feels safe, comfortable, and happy is one of our top priorities. That's why we require trial nights for all new dogs staying with us for five nights or more. It's hard to believe we are already preparing for a busy Christmas / New Year guest list, but here we are! ... I wanted to provide LOTS of notice as this year there have been some slight changes.

Our entire Tucked Inn Team will be taking a much-needed break from January 5th to January 17th to recharge after a busy year and spend quality time with family and friends. During this period, we’ll be fully closed for all overnight and daycare guests.

We have very limited space available for existing clients (we are not accepting new dogs this holiday season) from December 22nd to January 5th. Closed dates for check in / out are below. If you're planning to book during these dates, please do so as early as possible.

Full Kennel Closure from January 5th – January 17th (no guests).

The office will be closed from December 23rd to January 17th.
No replies to emails, voicemails, Facebook messages, or booking requests during this period.

We will have text/SMS available only for guests whose pups are staying with us Dec 22 - Jan 5.

Holiday Stay Requirements:

Booking Deadline: All booking requests for stays between December 22nd and January 5th must be received by December 15th. We will likely reach capacity well before this date, so please book early. No last-minute requests will be accommodated.

Minimum Charge: A 5-night minimum charge applies to all stays between December 22nd and January 5th, regardless of the number of nights booked.

Check-In/Out Times: Restricted to 10:00 am – 12:00 pm only.
Any check-ins/outs outside of this time block will incur a $69 special request fee.

Check-In/Out Restrictions: No check-ins or check-outs on December 24th, 25th, 26th, 31st, or January 1st—no exceptions.

No New Dogs: We will not be accepting new dogs during this period.

No Daycare Services: Daycare will not be available during the holiday operational period.

Payment Information:

Current Confirmed Bookings: Balance payments are required at check-in.
New Bookings: Full payment is required at the time of booking if the stay falls within any of the holiday dates.
Cancellation Policy: No refunds or credits will be provided for any cancellations after December 1st.

Please plan accordingly and reach out before December 15th (the sooner, the better) if you have any questions or need assistance finalizing your holiday plans.

Attention all our amazing clients! We're fully booked from Fri, Aug 2 - Mon, Aug 12, with just a few spots left from Tues, Aug 13 - Mon, Aug 19. It’s becoming a trend to fill up quickly, so make sure to book early to snag your spot!

🚨 Important Update for Our Community 🚨

We want to let you know that we will no longer be accepting new unsocialized or reactive dogs at Tucked Inn. As our commitment to the safety and well-being of all our canine guests remains our top priority, we’ve made this decision to ensure that every dog in our care can thrive in our highly social environment.

Over time, we've seen a rise in requests for accommodations for reactive and unsocialized dogs. While we previously managed these cases with our private studio suite, the increasing demand has made it challenging to provide the level of care and safety required. To maintain our high standards, we must now focus solely on dogs that are comfortable in a social setting.

Friendly reminder time! 🌟 We know how exciting it is to secure a spot for your furry friends here at Tucked Inn Kennels, and we want to ensure the booking process is smooth and stress-free for everyone. We operate on a first come, first served basis, and your reservation is ONLY confirmed with a deposit.

📅 When you receive your booking acknowledgement email, please remember to confirm your reservation by submitting your deposit. This helps us manage our bookings efficiently and ensures your spot is secured.

🚫 Bookings not confirmed within the specified timeframe will be automatically cancelled by our system. We will not manually monitor bookings and deposits, nor make exceptions unless prior arrangements have been made (ie: cash clients). You will not receive a follow up communication to see if you would like to keep the booking. You will receive an email to let you know the booking has been cancelled, and you will need to rebook with full payment required to confirm.

🔍 Each reservation email clearly states that a deposit is required (several times, it's highlighted, underlined, and in bold for emphasis!), so please treat each booking as crucial. If your reservation is cancelled due to non-confirmation, you risk losing your dog's spot as it will be offered to the next person in line.

🙏 We appreciate everyone who respects and follows these guidelines—it helps us provide the best care for all our guests! 🐶💖 Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Just a heads up – our vacation is almost here! From May 5th to May 12th, we'll be taking a break to recharge for the summer ahead. 🌞 During this time, we'll be closed for overnight stays and daycare services.

If you're picking up your pups on May 5th, please plan for pickups between 9:30-10:00 am. And remember, we won't be accepting any bookings or responding to inquiries during our vacation week.
