It's November! And many of us are planning and preparing our Holiday budget.🎄As you do so...can we ask a small favor? 🙏 Can you please keep your locally owned businesses in mind? It's been another tough year for many small business owners in our little Town and the coming season could bring them a little relief, but we need your help to do that.
We really do have so much, right here! From butchers to bakers, convenience stores to gyms, restaurants to garages, personal services to gift shops, crafters to clothing stores, bowling to movies (wink wink), dinner theater, jewellers, pet supplies, an exquisite tea room, bars hosting amazing events...and the list goes on! Most, if not all of these places offer gift certificates or would definitely work with you to provide something similar. After the Christmas rush is over, a gift certificate for any of these services would be very much appreciated. The certificate you give, could put food in the cupboards, assist with car repairs, stock the freezer with meats, give someone a much needed night out...just little things that help make life a little easier. 😊 And all purchased from locally owned small businesses..
Over the past months, we've spoken with many small business owners and so, so many are struggling. To the point that their future success is not guaranteed, despite their best efforts to bring customers in their door. And some are absolutely thriving and that's so wonderful to see. And it's thanks to you guys for that!
We know every dollar is stretched tighter than ever these days. But if you do carve out a little to spend this Holiday season, please think of a local small business. Your dollar is an investment in their continued operation and their ability to remain viable in our/your community. 🥰 There is space for us all, the large companies are very much needed and we so appreciate their anchors in our communities as well. We just ask you to keep the little guys in mind when you start your Christmas shopping. 🎁
If you are, or know of a locally owned business in the area, please feel free to post a link to your page in the comments below. Wishing our small business community a prosperous season ahead and an even better 2025! 🙏
