😸 OWNER FOUND! 😸
This friendly neutered kitty has been hanging around a farm at the end of Almond Gardens rd east (in Grand Forks) beating up the resident cats. He is currently in "kitty jail" at the Shelter 🤭!

These two young kitties, brand new to the area, escaped out a window Friday night. If you live in the area of 21st by the townhouses (in Grand Forks) please keep an eye out for them.

At this time of year predators are trying to fatten up for the winter. They are taking bolder chances and are coming closer to human-occupied areas to find food.

⚠️ PLEASE don't let their next meal be your pet!! 😓

For their safety, cats should be kept indoors from dusk til dawn, and small dogs should be accompanied when going out to p*e during that time as well. This cougar was spotted in Grand Forks, but of course all rural communities face the same risk.

Your pets & livestock depend on you to keep them safe! Please don't let them down 🙏🏻❤️🐾

💙 ADOPTED! 💙
This dapper dude is named Uncle Bear! He stepped in and took care of a couple of kittens when there momma took off, so the nice family that was looking out for them all gave him this adorable moniker! 😁 He a sweet, gentle "bear" who loves people and seems just fine with other cats. We're not sure how he is with dogs, but he's a pretty chill kitty and would likely do just fine with the proper introduction 😸.

We guesstimate Uncle Bear to be around 2yrs old, and we have had him neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped.

These two adorable little ladies have been named Starla & Stormie! They are bonded pair of 3.5mth old sisters. They are still a touch shy, but like all kittens, they are very interested in toys and playing, and we feel confident they will warm up to any loving human with minimal effort! 😺

The adoption fee for these 2 cuties is $400, which covers their first core vaccination shot and parasite treatment. They will need to see our vet here in Grand Forks when they are around 5mths for their spay & microchipping, which is also covered by the adoption fee.

This handsome guy is Chuck D. He is one of approximately 15 orange tabby cats currently in our care! Chuck and siblings came from a hoarding situation, but that hasn't dulled this sweet boys shine! 😸

Although still a bit insecure, it's very obvious once you spend a bit of time with him that all Chuck wants is love! ❤️ He will even roll over and show you his belly once he knows you!

Chuck is approximately 2yrs old. He has lived with lots of other cats, but no dogs. He would do we in a calmer home with older or no children. Please contact us now if you would like to meet Chuck D or any of our wonderful rescue kitties! 🐾

FIFTEEN intakes in the last 6 days 😿. A colony all the way over in Hedley. Other rescues nearby are full. So we help. Back & forth all week. One momma, seven young kittens, one teen male & one poppa bear. There are more, but now we are full 😓.

A couple of "accidental" kittens surrendered, a beautiful young male abandoned when his owner moved away and left him...

It is absolutely mind-boggling how many irresponsible people there are out there, in this day and age when it is very common knowledge how important it is to spay & neuter, and how quickly cats multiply if you don't! And it is heartbreaking to see folks still treating cats like nothing more than free mouse traps, easily replaced the next time a "free kittens" post pops up online 😒.

I can't mince words anymore, it's utterly shameful! I'm emotionally exhausted all the time, but I will not stop righting the wrongs against these innocent animals! Folks may as well get on-board, because my amazingly dedicated team of volunteers and our fabulous supporters will not stop rescuing these sweet souls, and providing them with the safe & loving life they deserve! ❤️🐾

This adorable little guy we've named Butterscotch . His owner passed away recently, so we took in him and his fellow fur friends. While still a bit shy, we've discovered Butterscotch is very affectionate and will even roll over and expose his belly for you to rub! 😺

We guesstimate his age at about 1.5yrs old. He is great with other cats and he would likely be fine in a home with cat-savvy kids too. Unfortunately, he does not seem to be a fan of dogs.
