For our beef it’s very simple..
1. Born and raised on our farm.
2. We then truck them to the abattoir Peel Meat Packers
3. From there it gets dropped off at our butcher J-Mar Meats where it ages and gets custom cut.
4. When it’s ready, we pick it up and delivery it to you! Or in this video we delivered directly to Grand River Chop House

Labour Day weekend or not, when it’s ready to come off- it’s go time!
Mixed grain is a part of our steers diet for a highly digestible source of energy which helps them grow.
The straw coming out the back of the combine will get baled and stored in our barn for the winter providing bedding for our cows.

The boys figured the dogs needed a birthday cake to celebrate their day but we agreed on cow tongues as a tasty treat for them. No cut is wasted around here! It may not be my personal preference but it’s sure loved by these pups.
