The good news keeps on coming! Vesper is OFA Good & Normal, and her Pennhip scores are also in the top 5% for GSDs. I'm thrilled, to say the least!
Now to wait for the SV scores.... but unless there are some major issues, it looks like Draco x Vesper puppies will be in the works for summer 2026 🖤

Some of Draco's health testing results are in! He had fantastic Pennhip scores, well outside of breed average (tight hips and very unlikely to develop hip dysplasia) and super prelim OFA scores. My first "excellent" for hips, which is exciting! I am trying something different with Draco & Vesper and having their hips, elbows, and spines evaluated through the German Shepherd Schutzhund Club of Canada's C-Stamp program. It is essentially the same as the German A-Stamp program, with the xrays being sent to Germany to be evaluated by the same veterinarians there, but turn around times are a lot faster. I'm excited to get the results, as they are strict and demanding- which is a good thing! But because some of the xrays are the same views required by OFA, I submitted to them as well.

Indianna Gogogo von Tiefengrund showing off her tracking skills at a seminar in Saskatchewan this past weekend. She has a great nose and knows how to use it! I'm super proud of this pup ( and owner!) and expect to see more impressive feats as she matures. Way to go, Indi!

I have everyone's registration papers, but won't mail them out until the postal strike is resolved. I will email you a PDF copy next week so.you have that until the physical copy arrives!

Vesper goes in for her xrays end of this month... if we get the results we are hoping for, she will be having puppies summer 2026!

And that's a wrap! "Indominus" and "Gator" met their people today and my arms are a bit more empty, but my heart is full 🖤 I'm so happy all my babies have found such wonderful homes and my circle of dog families has grown once again.

Thank you to all who put your trust in my breeding program & dogs. I look forward to many years of happy dog updates!

Handsome boy Hunter took part in a march yesterday for the Day of Truth and Reconciliation in Tulita, Northwest Territories. He took everything in stride, from kids coming to pet him and off leash dogs charging up. Although apparently bannock was a no- he prefers meat, thank you!
