The most handsome boy was brought in this afternoon by clients of ours. He was running around Wedgewood and has no microchip or tags. We will be keeping him here until 5PM.

Last week, we had a brave little Bandaged Paws kitten named Grace O'Malley come into our clinic. She was found under a trailer with rope wrapped tightly around her lower leg, cutting off circulation and rendering the leg beyond saving. After a thorough examination with Dr. Sopko, it was determined that the only option was to amputate the leg, making her a tripod kitten.

The surgery went very well, and we're happy to report that Grace is already recovering quickly. Despite her ordeal, she is incredibly spunky and full of life. We're so proud of her resilience and can't wait to see her thrive in her new chapter!

Today, she paid a visit to Dr. Sopko for her senior wellness exam and routine bloodwork, ensuring she's in tip-top shape for her golden years.

Taking care of our senior pets is just as crucial as caring for the younger ones. Yearly check-ups and regular bloodwork are essential to monitor their health closely. This proactive approach helps catch any underlying issues early on, allowing for timely intervention and management.

Last week, our little friend Roo had a bit of a nail-biting moment—literally! His concerned owners rushed him in after witnessing him gobble down a tack in one swift gulp.

After a thorough examination and radiographs, we opted for a watchful waiting approach, crossing our fingers and hoping for the best. And guess what? Roo, being the resilient champ that he is, managed to pass the tack through his intestinal tract without the need for surgery! 🙌

This week, we're thrilled to report that Roo is back to his playful self, much to the relief and delight of his loving owners. 💕
