We are 8 weeks old today and we went on a road trip down the block to see the vet for our first set of vaccinations and health check!

This post is absolutely breaking my heart but there is nowhere else I would ask this….💔😢
This gorgeous black girl is P**i..
For those of you who have been on this journey with me she is a kitten from Jasper and Chloe, my first two Selkirks..
I kept her to be a breeding girl and a few lucky people got a couple of her kittens, Maisy, Maisie, Kloud, Lexi, and Bean…😻😻😻
She had a few issues as a breeding female and after two c-sections and four kitten heaven babies I spayed her and she became a pet kitty just like her Mom, Chloe and Dad, Jasper…😻
Fast forward a few years and ever since she has been spayed her Dad, Jasper, tends to corner her where she then hisses and growls at him and sometimes the chase and fight is on…😿😿😿
Last week I had her at the vet as she was in and out of the litterbox and turns out she had a bladder infection and after treatment and a recheck our vet, after hearing her story thinks that the stress that Jasper is causing her had caused the bladder infection…
So it is with a heavy heart but with P**i’s best interest and happiness that I have decided that, to the right kitty parent, I will have to let her go…😞😔😞
She is 7 1/2 years old, spayed female and is in good health..
She has a few dental issues that need to be addressed and to the right person her cost will be to take care of her dental with contract..
I feel she would do best in a quieter household with either one female cat or no other pets…

I mistakenly said that the kittens were 12 weeks old last Tuesday when they are 6 weeks…😂

You wouldn’t think that having kittens was dangerous..
Well I’m here to tell you that because I am clumsy, I tripped going over the baby gate into their area to clean and I was holding onto a glass cleaning bottle..
It shattered under my hand as I rammed it into something when I fell…😵‍💫😵🤪
A trip to the ER and 12 stitches later I can definitely say it
Can be a dangerous job!😂😂

We are 5 weeks old today and we started eating soft kitten food last week which means litter training!

Baby Tortie girl has found her furever home and Mommy❣️
Thank You to all who messaged me about this little girl..😻
I will not be breeding until next early spring for hopefully two spring/summer litters…
I have a repeat offender wanting her third kitten from me next year and I hope to have as many hoomans wanting one of the babies that Charmed and Pixie have❣️😻😻😻

This gorgeous little Tortie girl is still waiting for her forever hooman..😻
I know times are tough and everything seems to be going up in prices, as well as mine..
I hate to disclose kitty business but I feel the need to explain why these little critters are so expensive…
I won’t go into extensive details or it would be a very long post!😂
This is Charmed’s first litter and she had to have an emergency c-section which cost 1800$…
She started her labour Sunday night and by Tuesday morning, still no contractions, pushing or babies but some bright red blood…
I knew I couldn’t wait any longer or we may not have any live kittens…
This indicates to me that she will have a higher chance of having to have an expensive c-section again and after the cost to get her and raising her and then only getting two kittens through an expensive c-section…
Well it’s not a good business outcome for me…😩
The same with Pixie’s last litter, she needed an emergency c-section and lost two out of three kittens…
Luna as well, she only had one pregnancy and one kitten with another expensive c-section…
Luna then had a pyro infection in her uterus when I thought she was pregnant..
She needed an expensive emergency spay…😩
I have no other females to breed and from all the messages I get where people are so interested and want one of these kitten, then when I have one, no one wants one or they don’t even respond back to me…
If I cannot sell this girl I will have to stop breeding, spay/neuter and re home some of my cats which will break my heart but I am in deep debt over this endeavor of love..😢
I cannot express my heartfelt joy and thankfulness to all the people who have purchased one of my kittens and believe me when I say I admire each and everyone of you who want to give them a forever home❣️
