💔 PSA; Not my work

This poor young lady came to me as a foreign lash fill/tech swap. Unfortunately upon assessment we found multiple extensions glued together in large clumps, multiple lashes glued to a single natural lash and even in some cases extensions glued horizontally across multiple natural lashes rather than vertically to a single natural lash. And as the cherry on top falls out within 7 days of her fills.

She could barely brush through them on the best days, and when she did, they always hurt. And to make matters worse, was told to wash her lashes with baby shampoo! Which is a HUGE NO NO.

Back when dinosaurs roamed the earth and lash extensions were born, lash techs would tell clients to use baby shampoo to wash their lashes. This is and has always been WRONG. Baby shampoo is not approved to be around the human eye, and it strips your natural lashes of their proper PH, causing the extensions to rapidly fall out.

The only product that should ever be used to wash your lashes is an approved lash bath. END OF STORY. It's crazy to me that a 20+ year veteran lash tech would still recommend this as an option to wash their clients' lashes. This is a prime example of a tech who never bothered to update her training in well over 20 years, which is so scary and honestly disrespectful. Our clients rely on us to provide the best, safest, most up to date service. And thinking you know everything about extensions after taking a 3 day course back in the early 2000s, isn't it.

Finding a tech who is passionate and dedicated to their craft by staying up to date on any and all new training methods, provides a clean and properly certified studio as well as follows all provincial standards such as health board certifications, business licensing and liability insurance is crucial. And I honestly wish more clients would hold their techs to these standards at the bare minimum. We as an industry will never progress and do better if these half ass lash techs are allowed to continue without ever being held accountable. 💔

🖤 30-day lash retention.

Although I NEVER recommend going this long without proper maintenance, it is still immensely impressive to see this kind of retention using traditional lashing.

This client is one of my mains! She always follows proper aftercare, any advice given, and treats her lashes like they are her BABY.

And to boot this bad B is a scaffolder by trade. So these lashes see all kinds of weather, humidity, and really anything the day throws at them! 🖤

I just wanted to post a quick reminder to please pre book your appointments.

March only has 1 available appointment time remaining and April is 70% booked.

We are entering our BUSIEST season. Between grad and wedding season booking last minute or not booking ahead WILL cause you to be unable to book repeat services.

We will be launching our annual spring into summer sale as well which 100% will make booking even more difficult. PLEASE PLEASE book no less than one month ahead.

I will be pre booking regular clients into May and opening our schedule up for bookings.

📢 Service PSA; For everyone who is currently receiving time sensitive services such as laser hair removal, lipo laser, or skin tightening... Etc I want to post a reminder that if you deviate from your required treatment schedule, your results WILL vary and will not be guaranteed. You could even potentially see 0 results from treatments if you are unable to commit to a specific treatment schedule. We do not set the requirements for treatments, which unfortunately means we can not change them to fit a difficult or unpredictable schedules. As a reminder, treatment schedules are; Laser hair removal - MUST BE DONE BETWEEN 4 - 5 WEEKS. If a treatment is not done within this time frame, your hair will simply grow back and heal from the laser treatment, and you will have completely revearsed any of the previous treatments. This is by far the most demanding body augmentation as you will completely lose any results if treatments are skipped. If you can not commit to every 4 weeks regularly 5 maximum please do not book for this service. You will see absolutely no results at no fault to the technician or the treatment itself. Lipo laser - Ideally done weekly. Can be done bi-weekly or monthly as long as you are okay with slower, less dramatic results. The best results being achieved with weekly appointments. Going any longer between treatments can cause your results to vary intensely to the degree of seeing no results all together. This service requires the ability to melt fat in a specific area before it has the chance to build back up. Unfortunately the only way to PERMANENTLY loose weight is with a healthy life style and exercise. Lipo laser is here to help kick start your weightloss and sculpt specific areas of the body so you do not have to loose your booty or boobs during the weightloss process. Skin tightening - Can be done 2-3 times a week for best results. Once a week, it is also acceptable to see results more slowly over a longer period of time. RLT helps
