Meet Delta, a beautiful mixed-breed girl, around 6 years young, with a zest for life and a heart full of love. She’s the perfect blend of playful and sweet, with a personality that’ll keep you smiling every day.

Delta absolutely lives for the outdoors — running, sniffing, and exploring new spots are her idea of heaven. If you're a person who loves to hike, jog, or just take walks, Delta will be right by your side, tail wagging and ready to go. She’s also a total treat-lover (she’s got a very expressive face when the snack bag comes out!) and has a quirky, funny personality that shines through in everything she does.

Whether it’s her goofy zoomies or her curious head tilts, Delta knows how to keep life interesting. Delta would thrive in a home where she has space to roam and people who appreciate her adventurous spirit. She’s looking for someone who will love her silly antics, and her loyal heart. Here is Rory, the Pet of the Week for the Greater Sudbury Animal Shelter! 💙

“Meet Rory, a 2-year-old male Shar Pei mix who’s ready to find a forever home! Rory came to us from another rescue after being overlooked for far too long—just because of his unusual looks. But we think his one-of-a-kind appearance is part of what makes him so special!

Rory is incredibly obedient and food motivated making him a joy to train and eager to please. He thrives with structure and will shine in a home that continues to help him build on his great manners. He knows to sit, lay down, stay, paw, and comes when called.

He does have a high prey drive, so he’ll need a home without cats or small dogs. He hasn’t been tested with dogs his size yet, so we always recommend slow supervised dog introductions before hand to see if he finds a good match.

If you're looking for a loyal, smart, and striking companion who’s just waiting for someone to finally see him for the good dog he is—Rory might be your guy.
