Hey everyone!

Just a heads up that my summer schedule is now fully booked.

However, with that being said, things happen and bookings get cancelled or rescheduled. If you’re curious if there are any cancellations, feel free to shoot me a message! I will also do my best to post any openings that may come up.

Thank you so much for sharing your amazing pets with me and for all the fun adventures we've had. I truly appreciate each one of you! I'll be reopening bookings in September and looking forward to more good times and hopefully meeting some new furry faces in the fall!

It’s paddle season!!! Lace practiced getting on and off the board at the shore. She’s a natural and will be ready to go out the next time we are together. 🐾

This was a fun week with Chester! Not only for me, but also for Gus. 😊 Chester's family was so kind to offer Gus and Chester a chance to meet beforehand and invited Gus to stay and hang out with Chester and me while they were away!

Chester showed Gus all of his favourite spots in the yard. They went on snowy adventures together and became the best of friends. 🐾❤️

Been busy busy making so many new friends! I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce some of them to everyone. ☺️

First up we have Bear and his little brother Bruno. They had their friend Rosie staying with them as well, but unfortunately, I didn't save her photo!

This was my first time babysitting Maine C***s and I instantly fell in love. They are extremely playful and affectionate. ❤️ I hope I get to see them again soon!

🚫 Chocolate: Ah, chocolate—Santa's favourite snack, but definitely not your pet's. Chocolate contains theobromine, a no-no for pets, causing anything from tummy troubles to serious health issues.

🍇 Grapes & Raisins: These sneaky treats may find their way into holiday dishes, but they spell trouble for pets, causing kidney failure. Keep them far from your pet's reach.

🧨 Fireworks: Loud bangs and dazzling lights might be the highlight of New Year's for us, but for our pets, they're petrifying. Create a safe haven for your furry pals, away from the firework frenzy.

🌺 Poinsettia & Mistletoe: Decking the halls with these festive plants? Beware! They're pretty but poisonous to pets. Keep them up high or opt for faux foliage to avoid any unwanted veterinary trips.

🎉 Party Animal Stress: If your pet isn't used to hustle-bustle, hosting a party might not be their thing. Loud music, strangers, and commotion can stress them out. Designate a quiet area for them to chillax away from the crowd.

🧵 Tinsel: Ah, tinsel—the sparkly, shimmering accessory to your tree. But for pets, it's a tantalizing toy that, if ingested, can lead to serious tummy trouble or even blockages. Keep those shiny strands out of paw's reach.

Lockerby Animal Hospital is collecting donations from now until December 22! If you have the capacity to donate any of the items requested, please do, it goes a long way in helping those in need. ❤️ Thank you to the wonderful team at Lockerby Animal Hospital!

‘Tis the season for giving back! Help us make a difference in our community by dropping off donations at our hospital! All items will go to the Sudbury Food Bank.

We accept human and pet food donations. We will have pet food cans that you can add to your invoice if you forget to bring in a non-perishable item and would like to donate.
