January 2025 Classes!!

Puppy Life Skills: Saturday mornings 9:00-10:00am starting January 4th. $200 for six week set. Now FULL !

Essential Life Skills: Wednesday evenings 7:15-8:15pm starting January 8th. $200 for six week set. Now FULL !

Agility Classes: current students have filled all three classes being offered. I’m unable to offer an Intro set in January. I still have quite a few on my wait list and I will try to organize some half day seminars on the weekend so folks can be introduced to the sport. Stay tuned to my page for more info!

Last Tuesday I flew to Toronto to welcome a new member to the Borderline family!!

Bright has had a busy week, and is fitting right into our lives like he was meant to be here ❤️
He’s already been featured in some of my training videos for the Puppy Life Skills class! I can’t wait to see where this journey takes us!

Big shoutout to some of my agility students that attended the UDSC AAC agility trial! This was the very first sanctioned trial for a couple of these folks and they did SUPER!!! 🤩

Puppy Life Skills and Essential Life Skills graduates from last night! 😍

So much improvement in these dogs over the class set!! I love working with puppies right from almost day 1, it’s cool to watch them learn! And the Essentials group all overcame some personal challenges with their dogs which was so rewarding!

No rest for the weary, two new sets starting next week!

I will be hosting another leash walk session this Saturday October 12th! See poster for details.

We will meet outside the Greenwood Pet Valu and will be walking in the subdivisions nearby. We will not be walking the entire hour - we will talk about some training techniques before we get started and will stop every so often to discuss how to work through common problems. You will need to bring lots of treats and a treat pouch!

Please note:
- this is not a “dog socialization” event: do not plan for your dog to physically meet or come into contact with the other dogs

1 spot - Puppy Life Skills starting October 30th and finishing on December 11th. Wednesdays from 6:00-7:00pm. 6 week set is $200.

*NOW FULL - 1 spot - Essential Life Skills “Part 2” starting October 30th and finishing on December 11th. Wednesdays from 7:15-8:15pm. 6 week set is $200. Prerequisite - Essential Life Skills Part 1.

Student Shoutout! 📣

Mike and Flynn earned their first “Q” (Qualifying Run) in their Starters Jumpers run at a sanctioned AAC agility trial this past weekend!! They also earned another Q in Gamblers, and received the ‘Judge’s Choice’ award!! 🤩

Mike wasn’t sold on agility when he first started, but like many of us have, he got the agility bug!!! He has practised hard with Flynn over this past year and they are a lovely team to watch, with so much potential!

Big congrats Mike!!
