I am a former animal clinic Vet Assistant with years of experience, and am certified in Pet First Aid and CPR. Gurr & Purr is insured and bonded and you can feel secure knowing I have a police background check. Gurr & Purr is a member of Pet Sitter's International and backed by their Certified Pet Sitting Program. I am able

to care for dogs, cats, ferrets, birds, other small animals, senior pets, and special needs pets needing oral medications, sub Q injections, recovering from surgery, and pets with separation anxiety. I'm entering my 8th year working with Team Cat Rescue which has given me much experience in feline behavior challenges.

I prefer to work one on one with your pets instead of booking multiple clients. This ensures your pets have my undivided attention with no distractions. Your fur child is treated as part of my family, not a visitor, when boarding in my home. I live in a quiet residential neighborhood with a park just steps from my door. My home has a fully enclosed fenced backyard and air conditioning throughout the house to ensure pets are comfortable in the summer months. Cats enjoy large private accommodations with exclusive access to a private catio. Whether it's boarding, home visits, etc., your booking will be customized to suit your pet's needs.

I also make one-of-a-kind pet wear for pets of all shapes and sizes. Everything from jean jackets, reversible dresses, bow tie collars for the boys and flowered collars for the girls, coats, hoodies, my signature life size bird catnip toys for cats and organic rope with dried sweet potato chew toys for dogs.

Team Cat Rescue desperately needs EXPERIENCED foster homes within the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (in Ontario, Canada). We are a small rescue that relies exclusively on our dedicated foster homes.

We need foster homes who have experience with cats post surgery.

This allows us to save the lives of cats requiring unique care for their situation or medical needs. We love to be able to help cats with medical needs but are unable to do so without experienced foster homes.

Kitten season is here, and so is our first Amazon Wish List! We can’t do it without you.

In Canada, kitten season is Spring until Fall, when the weather is warmer and shelters get huge numbers of kittens surrendered. Whether they are kittens dumped outside, community cats who’s kittens are found outside, or moms and their babies, they all need our help. Every rescue takes in as many kittens as they can this time of year, and this year we have created a big wish list in order to help our fosters have the supplies they need.

Our Amazon Wish List includes essentials for our kittens. KMR (kitten milk), and kitten food both wet and dry. These are items that will help our fosters look after our kittens, and have the supplies that they need on hand. By purchasing, you are sending these items directly to us where they are needed most.
