Attention dog owners
⚠️Blue-green algea⚠️

This is very toxic to dogs. It mostly lives in stagnant water but does bloom. Dogs swimming in it is enough to cause toxicity. On a trail I find this really intersting example. On the left is blue-green algea and on the right is regular algea.

My employee and I were out training some dogs today. This was when we noticed that dogs were left in a hot car. We searched and searched. Had stores announce over the PA. When no one showed up after over 10 minutes and people telling us that the car has been there over an hour we called OPP. since the start of looking to the dogs getting out it was about 45 minutes. So these dogs could have been there over 1.5hrs. It was 28 degrees today. The OPP were prompt in coming out and this officer listened so well to our instructions about saftey and the dog. He manged the situation very well. He also stood infont of the man to stop him from aggressing us. Elizabeth my employee showed her skills in handling unknown dogs and administering first aid. We were able to work as a team and save these puppies.

Took the dogs to a multicultural festival for some training. They got exposure around rides, dogs, people, cultures, First responders, vendors and live stage performance.

Training around statues is so important. At the park in there was this cool art statue. The dogs did great and even posed for a photo around it.

Zipper amazes me every day. He takes so many strides forward and shows his potential. He has worked hard to get where he is and continues to make progress. I am so excited for this team. They are truly meant to be!

Our assitant trainers house burnt down to the ground. There is nothing left of the house. She lost all her possession that were in the house. Unfortunately her 4 rabbits, bird didn't make it and we are unsure where the one cat is. The CPC community is with you. Her mom and dad went to hospital and were released tonight, they will be okay. The dogs got out and are being monitored for smoke inhalation, they are bright, alert and responsive. We were able to source some emergency meds for her one older dog. She needs some help with emergency items/care (ie. Winter gear, blankets etc.) One of her good friends set up a go fund me. If you can donate that would be amazing, if not some kind words so she knows shes not alone is also amazing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you through this challanging time. These pups are practicing down stays while someone walks through them. They also have a window beside them. This window is great practice for neutrality when other people, dogs and cars go by.
