About halfway through incubation this egg went mouldy. When it started to shrivel I threw it in a separate container just in case. I've hatched mouldy eggs before but this one looked exceptionally awful. I came close to throwing it out once because it stank so terribly of mould. Truth be told I forgot all about it when my clutch hatched last week.

Cleaning up today I was completely surprised to find a feisty little baby! Give those "bad" eggs a chance.
