For todays senior spotlight we are sharing with you one of our regular visitors, Winnie, who is about 11 years old ♥
We have had the pleasure of working with this lovely girl since her owners adopted her in 2017, now we see her monthly for her Librela injections!! November is Pet Diabetes Month, so we wanted to share one of our patient's stories with you.
Featured below is Buddy, who has been coming to see us since 2014, and was diagnosed with diabetes back in 2022. His parents brought him in because he was having some accidents outside his litterbox, and was acting more lethargic at home. After finding glucose in his urine sample, we tested his blood glucose level, to find that it was elevated.
Buddy was maintained with some insulin injections and a special diabetic diet, and has since gone into diabetic remission!! He is still getting the special diabetic food, but has been able to come off his insulin and is doing great!

Today's feature pet is one of our own. This is our lovely technician Aaryn's dog, Cleo ♥
Cleo is a black lab x catahoula mix who just turned 14.5 on Nov 5th! This beautiful girl just got some fall photos done, and was SUPER happy about it. Thanks for sharing her with us Aaryn♥♥

🌟National Senior Pet Month🌟

Today's senior pet feature is one of our regular visitors, Bubba ♥
At almost 16 years old, Bubba started to have some struggles with mobility, as lot of senior pets do. Bubba's parents started bringing him to see us monthly for an injectable medication called solensia! Solensia offers long lasting relief from the discomfort caused by osteoarthritis, helping keep those senior cats as active as they can be! Now Bubba gets to come see his favorite VA, Maddie, regularly, and gets pain relief too:)

If you have a senior cat who you think could benefit from solensia, give us a call and we would be happy to chat about it.

🌟Celebrating Senior Pets🌟
November is National Senior Pet Month, so we will be featuring senior pets and their stories as much as we can.
Starting us off strong is Sasha, who is 14 years old, and has been coming to see us for those entire 14 years. He was here to see Dr.Kharli last week for his vaccines, and was showing us his tricks! We were looking back, and it turns out that Dr.Kharli saw him for his first puppy exam in 2010, when he was just a little guy.

- Keep those Halloween treats out of paw’s reach! Chocolate and other sweets can be harmful to pets.
- Halloween can be stressful for our furry friends, especially if you get lot of trick-or-treaters! Consider setting up a quiet room for them away from your front door.
