We are situated on a lovely acreage 20 minutes north of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, where our Havanese have lots of room to run. They are not raised in a kennel but live in our home, under foot as part of the family. At LosCompanero Havanese we are committed to producing top quality, healthy and well rounded Havanese. We want all our puppies to look like a Havanese is supposed to look like so

we breed to conform to the CKC Standard. We do extensive health testing on all our adults before they are bred. Heather Warnock, the owner of Los Companero Havanese, is a member of the Canadian Kennel Club. Our puppies are carefully handled by us from the minute they are born. When their eyes and ears open they begin to explore their world and we provide planned stimuli for them; such as music, engine and vacuum cleaner noise, and toys of different shapes and sizes. At five to six weeks of age they are introduced to the outside world (weather permitting). The puppies are also taken for individual car rides and start to play age appropriate games. They are introduced to crates to ensure easy housetraining for their new family. All puppies are micro-chipped, vaccinated, wormed and health checked before they leave our home. You will receive a puppy care information packet, pedigree and written guarantee when you get your puppy. Pups are registered with the Canadian Kennel Club and individual papers are usually in your hands by the time your pup is six months old. Our puppies are placed in loving and caring homes that bring joy to both the people and the dog. Your Havanese puppy will get to socialize with our Briard plus have the advantage of starting housetraining and experience positive training for good manners. This makes it easier for their new owners to deal with their puppies and they can continue this positive training quite easily. Our pups go to their new homes kennel trained, responding to their names, and well on their way to being a good family pet and/or performance dog. We use the “Superpuppy” Module (or Early Neurological Stimulation).

Lacie had a good time at the Hub City Kennel and Obedience Club this weekend. With very limited showing (2 sets of shows) she has managed to aquire her Championship. (CKC Pending)🥳🤩🩷 She got that last point she needed and then some.

Peppe has an official name now. LosCompanero Payaso Travieso. He’s a sturdy boy with a ton of personality. 12 weeks old now out of Allie & Pino.

A bit late but here are the pups at 10 weeks now. A few have gone home. Parker, the black and white parti is still available. They are crate trained now and sleep through the night. They have been a lot of fun easy to have around. ❤️

The pups are now over 8 weeks old and getting ready for their new homes. I had been keeping my eye on the two parti boys and growing one up to possibly show. A close call but this little guy has become available. He is full of energy and very sweet. Will be 10-12 lbs full grown. PM me for more info.

They are loving having all the space to run and play. All had a bath, blow dry and pedi 😃 they are getting pretty good at standing on the grooming table so I can check teeth, nails and ears etc.

The puppies are 7 weeks old today. I’ll get some pictures and video of them over the day. We may even get outside for a bit as the weather has been incredibly nice this week.

I love how Tori watches over everything here and all the Havanese. She loves her job and I trust her instincts. But really, she is like a huge Havanese, all heart. ❤️

It was a warm day with fresh snow to play in. I love watching them bounce and leap in the air. The sun was out and life is good. We have a visitor here, a Skye daughter from two years ago and boy do they look alike.
I think they all had lovely snow beards when they were done. 🤣

The babies are 5 weeks old now and sure found their voices. They are all little barks and growls, trying each other on for size. 😂 They are starting to enjoy their big kids meals a few times a day and try stealing moms when she eats too. Now they are fast asleep again. Play hard-sleep just as hard too.

3 weeks old now for the Christmas litter. They are starting to explore with warm mushy food and learning to love it quickly. Sight is getting better and they are starting to pay attention to what is going on outside their pen. Time is flying by.

So Lacie was a little rock star at her first set of 6 shows in Prince Albert and took it all in stride. A typical bouncy, happy havanese. Thank you to all the judges that awarded her so highly. Lacie went Best of Winners in 5 out of 6 of the shows. That didn't stop her she also went Best Puppy in Breed, Best of Breed, Best Puppy in Group, Group 3rd, Group 4th and not one but TWO Reserve Best Puppy in Show. You never know what to expect with their first shows so we are beyond excited over this weekend.

The Christmas litter is 15 days old now and doing very well. Mom has been doing a wonderful job just attending to her little ones. They have names for now from the Christmas theme. Our one little girl will be Holly for now, black boy is Mistle Toe Magic, champagne boy is Little Drummer Boy, black and white parti’s are Jingle Bells and Trinkle Toes. 🎄🥰🩷💙💙💙💙

We are excited to have this pretty little girl out to her first set of shows this weekend. I won’t be there to watch as I have a litter at home but I’ll get updates day to day.
Came with the name Lucy, which I love but that has changed over to Lacie now.
As long as she has a good time and a good experience I’ll be happy and they always do with Trina and Connie.

Finally, they have arrived. Allie and Pino are celebrating their Christmas litter. 4 boys and 1 girl. Now to choose a theme so many have suggested and some names.
All are doing really well and gaining daily.
