Kennel Training

Kennel training is one thing I recommend all puppy owners to do and be consistent with as it is so important for dogs to enjoy and like the Kennel for different reasons.

1. Safety for the dog
2. Safe place to go if stressed or overwhelmed
3. Boarding your dog at facilities

Those are just some reasons to Kennel. Puppies that come to me for training/walks/boarding are Kenneled in my ruffland in the car for their safety and mine

To start off our first weekly training tips

Heel

When training your puppy, a heel first get them comfortable walking beside you. You can do this by rewarding for sitting in a "heel" position and slowly starting to walk with them or use a spatula with peanut as a lure got this from (do this on leash)
once they are comfortable, pick up your pace a little and start adding in the word you'd like to use. They key is to make it fun and rewarding for them so lots of treats and praise!

Good afternoon!

Since I am officially halfway through my course I will be adding some new services!

First will be adding evening and weekends walks, evenings will be solo walks between 5pm-8pm Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays

Puppy temperment testing. For any breeders in Nova Scotia I will be doing temperment testing for litters of Pups

As well as puppy training. Need some help with training your puppy or just want your puppy to have a successful start at life send me a message and we will create a training plan based on your pups needs
