The story of Honeysuckle the Brave - part 2.

Sometimes knights carry shining armour for others. Enter the incredible Jeff Collins of Halifax’ K-9 Orthotics and Prosthetics who arrived at Wild Rose on June 17 with the most special of gifts for our darling Honeysuckle. The life of one courageous little donkey has been forever changed and the magic was captured on camera.

Sweet Jessie is a regular here at Burnside and has a whole crop of medical specialists looking out for him because of a few ongoing medical concerns. When Jessie was deemed unsuitable for surgery for his cruciate ligament disease, he was fitted by our friends at K-9 Orthotics & Prosthetics Inc for 2 custom knee braces. Jessie is doing so well and he is so happy to be able to walk in the park again! Keep up the good work, Jessie!
