Planet Pooch K-9 Doggie Daycare We are a dog daycare located in St. Margret's Bay, 30mins outside of Halifax. Facilities: heated/cooled indoor area, fenced yard, kennel free environment.

Located in beautiful St. Margaret's Bay, NS Planet Pooch K-9 has been serving the community for over 9 years. Our smaller numbers allow for more attention to be given to each dog. The at home atmosphere includes an indoor heated/cooled area for your dogs to play and a large fenced outdoor area for them to get lots of exercise. You can rest assured that your dogs will be well looked after while you

are at work, out running errands, of if they are just there for a good play session. All new dogs are required to be up to date on core vaccines, on flea/tick prevention, and spayed/neutered if an appropriate age. Puppies must be at least 3 months of age and have their second set of vaccines. All new dogs must also complete a one hour trial before regularly visiting daycare. Trials can be set up by appointment only. Prices are as follows:

One dog full day(over 5 hours) $22.00
One dog half day(under 5 hours) $15.00
Two dogs full day $42.00
Two dogs half day $28.00

Full and half day passes are also available.(Buy 10 days and get 11th day free.)

Hi everyone, Just wanted to let you know that we didn't receive enough interest for Dec 30th/Dec 31st so we will not be opening either of those days. That means this coming week will be our last until January 2nd!

Hi everyone here we will be closed the week of Monday Dec 23rd to Friday Dec 27th for our Holiday break. On the following week we plan on closing early at 3:00pm on Tuesday Dec 31st(New Years Eve) and on Wednesday Jan 1st(New Years Day). If people are interested in bringing their dogs on Dec 30th or Dec 31st please let us know in advance. If we do not have enough dogs we will be closing for the full days. Thank you!

We ask that everyone keeps a close eye on their dogs for any excessive sneezing, coughing, or hacking anything up. If they have any of these symptoms please keep them out of daycare. Thank you.

With a heat warning in effect for tomorrow we have consulted with a local Vet office and have decided to close for the day. We currently don't have AC at the daycare and were concerned with not being able to keep things cool enough, we don't want to put any dogs at risk! We will be open for regular hours on Friday.

We will be open regular days and hours this week starting Monday. I have had a lot of people asking about my dog and unfortunately the outcome wasn't good. My family and I had to say good bye on Wednesday evening. I want to say thank you to everyone for their patience and understanding.

Hi everyone, I am still continuing to have problems with my dogs health and will have to close again tomorrow, Wednesday May 1st so he can go get some more testing.
