I’m so grateful that you all were so patient and kind to Elliot and Carrie. I also would not have been able to do this without either of them ! Huge thank you to the both of them for making this time off with Teddy doable.

Well well well.. did that not fly by or what?
I stopped the hikes beginning of august, and now I’m writing a post talking about mine and Winnie’s RETURN! She’s so pissed(LOL).. but I can’t WAIT!

I will be back full swing January 6th 2025! I will be sticking to the usual schedule that I had with you all before I stopped working. I will be making a post showing what that looks like incase some of you have forgot what that looks like.

You’re all welcome to text me once I make that post to let me know if that still works for you! If you’d prefer a different day, we can make that happen!

It will be so nice to get back out there with your fur babies. While I LOVE my baby, I’m very fortunate to have a job I’m excited to go back to. Ryan and Teddy will be joining many of the hikes in the New Year as Ryan is taking off some time to help care for our sweet bub while I go back to work 🩵

January 6th is just around the corner !! See you all very soon 🥰

Dates to note for December (and some happy faces if you swipe)

Before I send out the December schedule, I wanted to post the dates I will NOT be walking. Sadly, I work all through Christmas and have some time off from the navy mid-Dec but I’ll be walking during that time off.

I will be sending the schedule out tomorrow, I do have a couple of work days during the weekdays this month so expect a couple changes to the schedule and please let me know if they don’t work.

I’ll send this message out with the schedule as well so that it’s in a couple locations!

When I started walking Watson.. he was a little bit of a flight risk. He also wanted me to do the same trail over and over! If I decided to do a different trail, he would then turn around and run back to the car. It’s sort of funny if you think about it 😂 He also loved to play keep away with me with this happened. It was almost his way of being like, “ how do you fall for this every time? Just stick to the same trail !”

I was worried that he would go back to those same habits once Elliot and Carrie took over. I had come such a long way with Watson that I didn’t want to back track because I was leaving for a few months.

Not to say that he won’t pull that trick on me some time down the road when I’m back just to keep me on my toes .. but I’m so happy to see him not only go with two different dog walkers, but also happy to do any trail they take. He’s turned into such a confident dude and he lives for these adventure’s ! Truly.. you should see him when I pick him up. I told Carrie I call him “ happy paws “.

One of the many positive experiences of this job is watching dogs grow and become more confident !

Octobers been a blast but also gone by in the blink of an eye.

In the October schedule, I mentioned Nov 1-8 would be days off.
This was missed by many and I do apologize if Jenna has a different method/approach to taking time off and alerting owners.
This is the first week I’ve taken off in months but I feel guilt that there are owners expecting walks this week- I’m sorry for any mix ups this has led to.

I am sending out the new schedule and remaining bills as I struggled to work while on my first couple days of vacation.

I miss the pups and being away is not always easy for me but a break is needed (I miss being busy and working all the time).

I have been loving the morning walks with Teddy and my Winnie girl.. but I have to admit, my heart hurts these days because I miss my job. I miss the dogs so much ! Watching them play with their pals.. being total goof balls and having the best time.. ugh. I miss it.

Knowing the dogs are in great hands with Carrie makes this sad feeling a little less sad. I’m excited for her to come back next week so that I can come out and see all of the doggos.

I’m excited for Teddy to meet them all 🩵 AND believe it or not… Winnie misses it so much. Doesn’t mean she will be all warm and fuzzy though when she sees her pals 😉 That girl will always act tough on the outside!

People have been asking how Winnie has been doing with Teddy. Many of you know she struggles on her best day with people in general.. especially kids. Like most doggos, she’s not a fan of kids/babies unpredictable behaviour.

It was definitely a concern for us having a baby. We did our best to prepare Winnie girl for this new chapter, and so far, she’s going above and beyond our expectations. She has to be around him at all times, runs to him when he cries, and gives him lots of kisses.

So far so good! We know the real challenge will be when he starts crawling around, but right now, we are so proud of our Winnie 🩵🩵🩵
