Every once in a while we get to make something for a photographer, and get some amazing shots from them of their dogs in our gear! If you're in Ontario, and have an opportunity to get some photography done with Lynda, you HAVE to take it. She captures beautiful moments of people and their dogs together, or your dog solo if you prefer. Check her page out, I'm obsessed with so many of her pictures. 😍😍

We are excited to announce that The Teazer in Mahone Bay now stocks Beast Coast collars and leashes!

Not only is it Nova Scotia's oldest gift shop, it also has some truly unique, and locally sourced, gifts! Definitely worth a trip to visit!

This is our first set of patterned collars and leashes too! We went full nautical on these ones, check 'em out!

Day two of Maple Leaps Flyball Club Pawrates Tournament. We have some examples of the styles we can make out on our table. Come find me at the maple leaps table, ask for Lauren. We even put out a couple of patterned pieces out, more patterns will be announced (decisions are hard and we think there are sooooo many nice options). EVENT ANNOUNCEMENT! 🥳

On Saturday July 27 and 28, we will be at the Pawrates of the Atlantic Maple Leaps Flyball Tournament at the Lunenburg Hockey Rink in beautiful Lunenburg, Nova Scotia! We are so excited to watch some dogs having the time of their lives and some great competitive racing. 🐶💨

The event is open to the public, and there will be some awesome raffle prizes you can enter to win. You can pre-order raffle tickets for these wonderful dog baskets donated by Dr. Deanie Parks Veterinary Office, John and Jeannette Pelley, Crumps' Naturals, Chester Basin Animal Hospital, and The Dog Shop. Draw happens on Sunday July 28! Information for pre-buying raffle tickets is on the included poster picture.

We here at Beast Coast have also donated a gift certificate to the raffle. You can enter to win a gift voucher for 1 grab collar, 1 double layered collar, 1 five foot leash, and 1 fan hanger in a colour combination and size of your choosing! How awesome is that?! You can pre-buy raffle tickets via the same method listed for the baskets, but include a note that it is for the Beast Coast Gift Voucher in your e-transfer please. 🥳😍

We will also have special event pricing (see photo here!) for anyone who orders product at the event, or wants to pre-order and pick up at the event. We will be doing something a little different at our table and trying a "build your custom collar" type set up where you can pick your backer piece, main collar piece, hardware type and finish, and even make it a grab collar. Once you've selected all your pieces, we will assemble it and let you know when you can come back and pick it up. We think this is super fun and that you should definitely come check us out!

Long lines are great when working with pups who are still learning recall, or to give them a bit of freedom of choice while still keeping them safe from running into danger (like traffic!). This yellow BioThane long line is 15' long with stainless steel hardware. Let it drag through the sand, into the mud, and/or into the water without worrying about it getting stinky or staying wet for hours! It will wash easily and dry quick.

Quick release collar in forest green with a seafoam backer and shiny silver coloured hardware! This style has a 1.5" range for adjustability using chicago screws. They aren't as quick to adjust as a standard buckle style, but once set to the ideal size, you probably won't need to adjust it again for a while!

Quick release collars are great for when you need the ability to remove your collar, as the name suggests, quickly! We love them for quick potty breaks and for swimming adventures, when our pup's long hair can get tangled around the standard buckle style collar hardware. 😍
