Within a few days of opening up Christmas bookings spots were already filled ! We are most definitely at max for the holiday season and can’t take on any further bookings until the New Year. Many thanks to everyone for all the support ! I wish I could watch them all ♥️
I’m not usually one to get hyped up about storms but the predictions just keep getting worse ! For those that don’t follow on IG but have a pup booked in the next few days/ weekend please review the below !

I promise one day I’ll catch up posting on facebook! But in the meantime just a friendly reminder that all the action almost daily happens over on Instagram! Follow us there to get a feel for myself, the space and the pups that call this place their second home. @ saltydog.petsitting
We’ve welcomed many new faces here are a few from last weekend
A wild Friday night here in the Salty Dog house 🔥
If Wally stares hard enough the food container will magically open 👀
Traveling with your doggo over the holidays or any other time doesn’t have to be stressful! Azalea is a seasoned flyer but it’s been about a year since she’s had to use her soft sided carrier.
We will be traveling coast to coast again this Christmas with a mini stop over in Ontario (about 6 flights in total). I wanted to get her comfortable with the carrier again so we decided to combine it with some target practice.
A little bit of training goes a long way. Looking for a local positive reinforcement trainer? I’m happy to provide recommendations of a couple great ones pm me 🙂
I often get asked how we get our group shots. I find this a funny question because to be honest I simply ask the dogs to wait or stay and provide them treats for appeasing me.
Basic obedience training involves sit, lay stay etc. They are important skills to have. It just happens to be an extra bonus that you’ll get really great pictures if you work on these with your pup !
