sweet mabel here is the definition of that - after being told due to her ill health that she wouldn’t be able to safely receive all of the vet care that could help mitigate her pain, and that she likely would not ever be well enough to be adopted, our girl here has made such amazing progress!
stories like mabel’s are why we do what we do - through the love and care of her wonderful foster family and the team at not only has mabel been able to receive her spay (poor girl is so much more comfortable now) to rid her of countless cysts and have much-needed dental work done, she is likely on her way to becoming adoptable!
i count myself lucky to be able to provide care to senior babes like mabel, and it’s so heartwarming and rewarding to see such a clear example of just how powerful love can be. our girl went from grumpy and restless (can you blame her?!) to finally being comfortable enough able to show her true colours - an absolute sweetheart of a senior!
