Hello, wonderful supporters of our fluffy friends at Serenity Guinea Pig Rescue! It’s that magical time of year again when we spread joy and cheer to everyone—including our adorable guinea pigs!

Hey Cavy Crew,

Due to unforeseen circumstances, our emergency fund has been depleted. As a result, we are facing challenges in meeting the day-to-day care needs of our organization. Recently our refrigerator broke down for the second time time this year. After careful consideration, it was determined that repairing the refrigerator was not a feasible option, leading us to make the decision to replace it.

At present, we have utilized all available funding to address this urgent need. While we were able to find a suitable replacement within our budget, the depletion of our emergency fund has left us in a vulnerable position for addressing any future unforeseen expenses. In light of this, we are reaching out to you, our valued supporters, with a request for assistance in replenishing our emergency fund.

Your generous donations will enable us to rebuild our emergency fund and ensure that we can continue to provide the necessary care and support for our organization’s day-to-day operations. We spend over $135 dollars a week on hay alone.

I understand that times are tough for everyone, and I am always hesitant to ask for donations when I know that many of us are facing financial challenges. However, having an emergency fund is crucial for situations like this, as well as for supporting important rescue efforts for sick or in need guinea pigs. Your contributions can make a significant difference in ensuring that we are prepared for unforeseen emergencies and can continue our vital rescue work.

Your support means the world to us, and I am truly grateful for any assistance you can offer during this time. Together, we can continue to make a positive impact on the lives of these wonderful animals and ensure that they receive the care they deserve. We have covered their current hay bill, but they definitely do need more hay very often if you'd like to donate any❤️ please consider helping out this amazing rescue with their vet bills, hay, or washing machine.🐰🌾❤️

Hey friends,

Our washer is broken :(
On top of this, we also bit behind on our hay bill and have another vet appointment coming up on Tuesday. This rescue is entirely funded by myself and through donations, and with all these unexpected repairs and vet bills lately, we aren't going to be able to do it all without help.

We would be very grateful for any support to help us get through this. If someone has a washing machine that they don't need, please keep us in mind.

We can't operate without a washing machine, and the vet appointment on Tuesday is an important checkup for Bunbun, who has a golf ball sized growth under his chin. He's been doing really good taking his medication and healing so he's a good candidate for surgery but it's imperative he is seen Tuesday to make sure the antibotics he's on are working the best they can.

As for our hay bill, we are about a week behind, and each week is an additional $120. 100 piggies sure eat a lot of hay, and unfortunately, I can't grow it myself like I can grow veggies for them.

I was hoping to post a fundraiser soon, but this has completely derailed our plans, and I'm feeling very overwhelmed.

If you can help with fundraising, or if you make something you would feel comfortable donating, please reach out to me. I can't offer much in return, but I can advertise on our page and group.

I hate to even ask, but if anyone can donate to our rescue fund, we would be very appreciative.
