Rounding off the end of my birthday week with a morning of tubing down the Grand River in Cambridge (so fun!) courtesy of followed by a shift with the at the !
If you haven’t been to the you need to try it- the food options all support local community organizations, there are amazing art and craft vendors and rides for kids (and young at heart). It’s free to get in, and there is a lot of local parking.
The serves pierogies and peach crepes and all proceeds go to back into the community through the various organizations they support.

This birthday cake, made by was a hit! Delicious carrot cake and kid-friendly chocolate and red velvet cupcakes with chocolate eggs and cream cheese icing. The design was perfect for our chicken-loving birthday girl who also happens to be gluten free!
This was a hit for the whole family and we are so grateful for how much effort Meagan put into our surprise birthday cake!!

One of our furry friends has gone missing! This is Milk- She went missing last night on Hall Road in the Binbrook area. Milk is a Frenchie and does have a microchip! If you find her please bring her into our clinic or please call 905 746 3906. Thanks!

One of our amazing clients (who honestly is like family at this point) dropped off her donations because they can’t make it Sat.
If you want to donate but can’t make the you can drop off donations at the kennel until Dec. 1!
You can also donate at or after Nov. 6- we’ll be dropping off donation boxes after the open farm.

People are struggling to afford pet food in addition to all the other things in life that are becoming more expensive. We want to help. Our Open Farm is taking place on Nov 4 (this Saturday) from 10-3. For the admission price of some pet food or supplies ( or human food) you can come and visit the sheep and alpacas, watch some demonstrations, take photos and visit our store. So much fun for a good cause. There will also be a food truck here ( ) and warm drinks! All proceeds go to the Glanbrook, Caledonia and Cayuga food banks, as well as .

The chicks are starting to grow their wing feathers at only a couple of days old! They are getting bigger every day.
Some of them will be spending the day at the again today- we are in the Ag Tent if you want to stop by for a look. And every once in a while they come out so kids can hold them… 😉

Ag-education at the Binbrook Fair is taking place this Friday, Sept 15 at the Fairgrounds. We have some spots available for grades 2 and 3 classes, so if any of our clients want to share this poster with their kids’ teachers please feel free! The program is also open to home-schooling families. You can also email us for more information! Thanks for supporting this valuable program - the kids love it.

We are really pleased with how well our installation turned out! We can now open windows in the front office and cattery, and all the windows are draft-free and well-hung so no sticking windows. It is going to make climate control in the kennel so much easier.
We’ll be replacing the greenery out front so the cats will be able to watch the birds again.
Cat boarding is still on hold while we upgrade the cat suites.
A huge thanks to Jeremy and the technicians from for everything!

Sending huge amounts of love and compassion to anyone who is missing a beloved pet today - and every day. The love of our animals is an incredibly pure and beautiful thing.
