❤️ It’s Giving Tuesday! ❤️

Each year Watzin Veterinary Clinic chooses a local charity to support by collecting essential items for pets in need. This year we are happy to be supporting Salty Animal Rescue - a local rescue started by two sisters from Dundas! Salty Animal Rescue has been able to give 356 animals the chance at a new life. Several of our own team members have fostered and adopted through Salty Animal Rescue, and we know how hard this rescue works to save pets in our community. They are an unfunded, volunteer run rescue, and every donation makes a difference.

We will be collecting items at Watzin Veterinary Clinic until the end of December!

Items Needed:
Paper Towels
Kong toys
Dog Food
Cat Food
Large Freezer Ziplock bags

It’s Giving Tuesday!❤️

Giving Tuesday is the day of the year for others to give back in whatever way they can. $5, or even a quick share, is all it takes to participate in what this time of year should be all about, giving!

So far we’ve been able to give 356 animals the chance at a new life. The continued support from others is the only way we can keep that number rising!

Although we are taking an intake break, the need for funds never ends when we still have animals in our care. Supplies and vetting still continue to cost us more than we have coming in. Please know that no donation or effort of support is too small and we appreciate anything anyone is able to do.

As an unfunded, volunteer run rescue, every donation or ounce of support means the more animals we can help, more lives we can save, and more ways we can make Salty better. However, we know all too well that it’s not easy for everyone to donate right now.

If you’re unable to donate, the biggest thing we need are adopters! Harley, Pico, Mia and/or Pugsley (pictured) are waiting for their perfect forever homes! A like or share of our available animal’s posts can help more than you realize.

If you choose Salty to give back to this year, it will not go unnoticed. If not Salty, please think of giving back in some other way. So many lives can be changed for the better with one simple gesture.
