We know the weather started frightful this morning but we’ve cleared everything up and the farm and lessons WILL be running tonight! Don’t forget an extra scratch for everyone’s favourite ponies when you arrive!

Dear DME team,

Our lovely Haico, 22 year old freisan gelding, will be humanely euthanized on Tuesday, Jan 28, 2025, at our home farm in Cayuga.

We love him very dearly, and after extensive consultation with our veterinarian, King Veterinary Hospital, and the Medieval Times veterinarian and trainer, we collectively came to this decision.

We have greatly appreciated the opportunity to have this beautiful and kind schoolmaster in our program and thank Medieval Times for entrusting us with him.

If you have any pictures to share, we would much appreciate it so we can remember our beautiful boy together.

Let’s have a BIG welcome for our newest horse to join the DME family! Standing 17.1 HH and 14 years old, Tootsie is a gentle giant with a heart of gold 💛
Keep your eye out, she is settling in and will be joining lessons soon!

It takes an army to put on a horse show. Most of our volunteers were working too hard to pose for pictures, but we are so thankful for our coaches, judges, food room helpers, ring crew and aisle volunteers! We couldn’t make these days successful without all the helping hands!

A sad update to share 🌈 💔

Mars was humanely euthanized today, October 31st.

Our lovely girl will be very dearly missed. From summer camps to 0.8 jumpers this mare has given so much to our DME family.

Much love and sincere condolences to all who love this mare so dearly.

We would love for our DME family to share their photos and memories with us, and will be making arrangements for a tribute to her.
