Yesterday was a very sad day for Bitagold Golden Retrievers. Elsa aka CH Harborview FrozN in Time at Bitagold passed over the rainbow bridge to be greeted by her many four legged Friends.
Elsa never knew a sad day in her life. She danced her way into the hearts of many. Her most favorite thing was to stick her head into passing strollers to clean sticky faces and make children smile or laugh. She was a confident show dog and we would giggle as she strutted her self around the ring while she played to the judges " look at me, I am the one you want to pick today".
Elsa gave us three lovely litters and we thank those stud dog owners for allowing us to use their special boys.
To her puppies far and wide from Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Ontario, Newfoundland, in the USA. Their owners adore her children.
Elsa was always the nurse maid. Should anyone need extra care or attention Elsa was there. A kiss on the hand, a snuggle to reassure you and of course a buddy to share your treats with.
Her most innocent looks got her out of so many naughty girl situations. That Did I do that look just melted your anger into squishy marshmallow hugs and sweetness.
Elsa enjoyed her food as goldens do but her Depp brown eyes conned more food into her gut from Peter than anyone else in her world. She learned to stare deeply into your face to obtain extra parts and hugs.
For us Elsa was a true Ambassador of this breed.
Her daughter's Pinky and Pumkin are missing her today. The neighbours are inquiring about her missed presence patrolling the streets for people to stop and ask may I have a love or pat from you.
To Jennifer Craig we can not thank you enough for our special girl. To Detour and Fancy her parents we were blessed to own a piece of your legacy.
My heart is shattered as I think of our smiley princess. For all her loving heaped on me during times of health and dark moments that happen in life She was my one in a million girl.
Elsa, thank you for being just you.
