One of my sweet sitters purchased a single rose plant for me while I was going through cancer treatments last year. I planted it on a day I wasn’t feeling “too bad” and here it is flourishing today!! 🌹❤️

It’s a beautiful day and we are all set up!!! We have a craft corner, a raffle and a Photo Booth going! Little Rays Reptile Zoo will be here and the winner of the pet contest will be announced! Lots of vendors here this year!! 😃🐶🐱🐰

HELP IS URGENTLY NEEDED FOR COMMUNITY CATS

We are currently putting out an urgent plea for short term assistance for community cats, and are looking for volunteers who are able to provide 1 week stays to community cats so they can be spayed/neutered and recover prior to being re-released to their colony location.

There is a new colony with 25+ cats, and help is urgently needed to provide short term care in a clean, quiet and temperature controlled setting where community cats will remain safely cages in appropriate cages for their recovery period. Volunteer caregivers are responsible for providing a safe space, and for daily feeding, watering and litter cleaning for a 7 day period.
Cages, food, litter, and all other needs will be covered.

You must be located in the Hamilton area.

Looking for a new vet.

Tiny fell ill last Friday. I was able to get him into the vet on Monday, where they did $800 worth of bloodwork/urinalysis testing.

Waited until Wednesday to call in for the results, when I found out they are closed on Wednesdays.

Called again first thing this morning only to find out they don’t have a doctor in until tomorrow morning.

What f**king good does $800 worth of tests do if I can’t get any results??? All the while Tiny is suffering! So pi**ed.

The least they could’ve done is tell me the wait would be this long because if I knew I wouldn’t have done it and took him somewhere else.

Anyone know of a good vet for cats?

This evening I almost swept Genny aside when I opened the door. Frank and Bobby were also there to welcome me with lots of leg rubs and a few meows. Everyone had their scritches and cuddles before Genny ran to the kitchen to wait for her food. Instead, she had her pill first. She didn’t seem to mind especially since she was served dinner right after. Bobby and Frank also nibbled at their meal. Afterwards, Frank wanted to hang out in the shower while Genny played with her ‘nip toy and Bobby pounced on the cat dancer. 😻😻😻

The results are in!! I’M CANCER FREE!!!!!!!!!
So they say…for now…we all know how this s**t goes! But I’ll take it!! ❤️
