When you bring a new pet into your home, regardless of their behavior or personality, they will need some period of decompression before they are fully comfortable. During this time they may be particularly fearful, anxious, and may hide in your home. The most important thing to remember is that this is normal! Their behavior will evolve and settle in after days, weeks, and even months. This is often referred to as the ‘Rule of Threes’, which helps us understand our pet’s behavior during their decompression period.

🐾🌙 Thank you Cherie Jeffery for trusting me to care for your adorable duo, Luna and Jack, while you were away! 💕

Luna, my shy little lady, finally came around — she even offered her paw and let me sneak in a kiss! 🥰🐾 And Jack… well, the handsome gentleman never misses a cuddle or a chance to charm a new friend ❤️🐶 (Don’t worry, Jack — you got your fair share of kisses too! 😘)

So grateful for the love, trust, and tail wags these two gave me. 💕🐾

Here we go !!! Our last INK for animals fundraiser was a huge success !! Mark your calendars for this one !! The turn out was incredible last time so we decided to extend this to a 2 day event !! October 18 and 19 doors open at 10 am! $40 tattoo with a donation!!
There will be flash sheets posted ! Toonie size tattoos ! They will be as is however if you would like to add colour or names we are happy to do that at a different time for you ! No restrictions on the location of the tattoo ! We thank you for the nominations of local pet rescues ! We will be choosing the top 5 rescues ! When you come in for your tattoo you will be asked to vote for one of the 5, we will select a winner at the end of the fundraiser ! If there is a tie , we will split the proceeds ! We are so excited to promote this event and ask you to please SHARE and tag some friends who would like to support this amazing cause ! We all love animals and they need our help 🐾❤️ we appreciate all of you for supporting us over the years!!

Johnny, your lovable Sphynx, melted my heart with his cuddles and affection — such a little sweetheart! 💞 And Lola, your gorgeous Himalayan, was shy at first but full of quiet charm, always finding the perfect cozy hiding spots 🐾💗

Caring for these two was an absolute joy — every purr, cuddle, and peek from behind a corner made my day. 🥰
