I hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine! ☀️

Taking effect July 4th 2025, South Paw Grooming will be having a price increase.

Due to the rising costs of equipment replacement this year and an increase in insurance rates, I’ll be making a few updates to my pricing:
• Small dogs: Increase of $3–$5
• Medium dogs: Increase of $7–$10
• Large dogs: Increase of $10–$15
• Nail trims: $15 + tax
• Nail trims with dremeling: $20 + tax

These changes will help me maintain the high quality of care and service your little loves deserve, and will bring my prices more inline with the current marketplace. I truly appreciate your understanding and continued support — it means the world to me.

A note from your grateful groomer…

At the end of each year I find myself reflecting on how lucky I am to be able to do what I do each and every day,

This year was alittle different…
As most of my regular clients are aware I had knee surgery in November. Fortunately I’m healing up fabulously and I’m almost back to 100%. Being out of work for longer than expected, before the holidays was a stressful situation to say the least. I couldn’t help but feel overwhelmed and worried about letting clients down, and disappointing the humans that keep my lights on.
However! My worrying was for absolutely nothing. Every single one of you was so accommodating and flexible. Everyone make it so easy for me to focus on healing and getting me back to grooming..

It was just unbelievable. I can’t even express how full my heart was knowing that I didn’t just have support in my personal life, but also in my professional life.

So this year, I’m not grateful that I get to do this job.
I’m grateful to have a clientele that allows me to do this job when I’m at my best, and trusts that I’ll to come back and take care of there little loves when I’m down and out.

Thank you to everyone of you who support South Paw throughout the year! From my tried and true regulars, to the occasional nail clip… I am genuinely in awe of the support I receive and I am so grateful to be given the opportunity to care for your little loves ❤️

🗓️Scheduling Post 🗓️

Hello Humans! 👋

I’ve started working on my 2025 schedule! 🎉

However as some of you may know there’s been a hiccup in my schedule for 2024.

I had knee surgery on Tuesday (Nov 5th) and I am okay! However my recovery was supposed to be one week and back to work… unfortunately once they got in there the plan changed… I’m unable to work until after my post op appt, on Nov 20th and I’m unable to groom large breeds until December 4th.

For my first week back (Nov 21 - Nov 28) I will only be grooming dogs that I’m able to pick up with one arm. After that week I will be working my way up to medium/large breeds.

I fully understand how inconvenient this is, and believe me no one wants me working more than I do!

So…

NOVEMBER 12th - I am rescheduling all appts that fall during my recovery time. (I’ve messaged most of you, however there are a few left)

NOVEMBER 13th - I’ll start the bookings for next year! 🎉❤️

If you are a regular clients (meaning you have a rotational appt schedule with me already) please feel free to message me with any days that don’t work for you for the first half of 2025!

I will be reaching out to everyone starting tomorrow to confirm schedules and get everyone booked! 🐾🗓️

Once my schedule is done for the first half of 2025, I will be adding in from my Waitlist.
If you’re currently on the Waitlist with small breeds, feel free to send a message if you’re still interested! I will be adding some day time time slots for 2025 🎉❤️

As always…

I have the best clients, everyone has been so kind and understanding during this stressful time. I am so damn lucky to have such amazing humans that bring me the sweetest little babes to take care of. I am just so grateful ❤️

I hope everyone is enjoying the fall season! 🍁

After what seems to be an increase in last minute cancelations, unfortunately I’m going to have to change my cancelation policy.

The new policy for South Paw Grooming, will be in effect starting Oct 17th 2023.

- If you need to cancel an appt I require 48hrs notice, and there is no penalty to you.
- If you cancel within the 48hrs I will require half of the appt cost.
- If you cancel the same day as your appt, you will owe the entirety of the appt.

All cancelation fees will have to be paid at your next appt pre groom.

I will also be sending reminders 48hrs before appts, instead of the usual 24hrs.

This new policy is only to incentivize you to give me more time to fill spots. I understand things come up, and life is unpredictable… however there are people that want those appts and don’t have enough time to get here.

I appreciate all of you for the continued support for South Paw 🐾
