My Story
I have been a breeder of long and short coat Chihuahuas for 45yrs......yes a long time.
When I was only 9yrs. old my dad got me another breed of dog as I had pleaded for awhile and was an only child, so they finally gave in. I loved Laddie but he was so active and hard to train that they said we had to sell him:( I was very sad but my dad said maybe we could get a Chihuahua later, which is what I really wanted.
He kept his promise and I got Penny a short coat, larger type girl. I loved this dog with all my heart and she was my constant companion.....she rode in my bicycle carrier and I was known as the “little girl with the dog on her bike”
It wasn’t long before I wanted Penny to have puppies,,,,,so somehow I got my parents convinced and Penny had 3 lovely babies...….that was the beginning of the end LOL! After Penny passed away at a ripe old age I was without a Chihuahua,,,but after getting married I spied a long coat Chihuahua and fell in love all over again and bought a pair to breed!!
