what is best for your pet. We will take the time to listen to what hair style is best for you and your life style. All we ask is for you to be open with us & give us feedback. One person’s definition of short or round face is completely different from the other. Sometimes it takes a few grooming sessions before we prefect the style. All Grooms Baths include
Coat specific shampoo – Need extra hydration, a silky shine, extra brightening or deshedding? We use products designed for your dog’s coat type. All dogs will receive two baths, one to loosen oils and break down dirt, a second to insure a squeaky clean. And we will include a 3rd or 4th bath for those that may need it. Cleansing Blueberry Facial- It is a Tearless formula that brightens and cleans while keeping your pet’s safety first. Conditioning- All dogs will receive a special conditioning to keep their skin and coat healthy. Fluff Dry- To insure the best results we will take the time to hand dry your dog. If your pet is nervous of the dryer we will then kennel dry using our cool air dryers to guarantee your dog will never overheat. Nail Clipping- We recommend every 4-6 weeks for nail clipping. Nail filing will be included to those dogs that appreciate that extra touch. Ear Cleaning- A light clean using our gentle Witch Hazel solution when needed. A Special Touch- Groomers choice on a special something to give your pet that finished look. Policies
Scheduling- Dogs are required to be on a schedule of 10weeks or less, unless we have already discussed other options. Nails are recommended to be trimmed every 4-6 weeks so many clients book 4 week nail trims and then 4 week groom. If trying to reseed nails (push the quick backwards) 2-4 week nails trims maybe required. If booking longer than 6 week appointments please be trimming nails at home in between. I love to pre-book clients so booking for a year out not only allows you to have the appointment times you need but ensures dog stays comfortable all year long. September I will start booking for the following year. Cancellations or No Shows- 48hours notice is required to avoid the 50% your normal grooming cost charge. Giving me notice will allow me ample time to fill the spot. I work one on one style and so losing out on an appointment can drastically affect my pay cheque. Please respect my time as I do my best to be punctual and respect yours. Fleas- ALL pets need to be on some sort of preventative; over the counter vet prescribed, natural approach or simply checking daily to stay on top of parasites. When fleas are found they will immediately be given my ProTek Flea bath. Depending on how many we find; will determine if I am willing to finish the groom or send home wet (nails trimmed in bathtub). I am not willing to risk my own pets and all my clients’ pets in spreading fleas. A charge is given if fleas are found, this covers cost of flea bath and the extra time required for me to deep clean once your pet has left our salon. Matting & Compact Coat- this should be avoided as all dogs are required to be on schedules to avoid this from happening. 8-10 week clients especially need to stay on top of home brushing and combing. If you have not done your work of maintaining your pet’s coat at home and they come in with excessive compacted coat or knotted I reserve the right to add extra charges for the extra product I need to use, time and skills to bring your pet back to a healthy coat. Shaving Double Coats- with my education and research I have chosen to NOT shave double coated dogs (huskies, Pomeranians, golden retriever etc) I will trim them to 1inch or longer after doing my typical de-shed program!

📢 **SCHEDULE UPDATES** Due to the wet weather and field conditions, the following schedule changes have been made:
- 🥁🚒 PARADE moved to SUNDAY @ 10AM
- 🎆 FIREWORKS moved to SUNDAY @8:30PM
All other activities planned for Saturday will continue as scheduled, with the fairgrounds being relocated to the Harvey Memorial Community Centre:
- 🎪 Carnival games, face painting, 🎈balloon animals, 🍟 food concessions and 🎩 magic show will take place in the Arena
- Bingo, craft sale and seating for eating will be located in the gymnasium
- 🅿️ General Parking will be located in the rear field area or at the Elementary School.
- Accessible parking will be available near entrances

Harvest makes a donation to SNAP and it is always a fun event to be at.
T'is that time of year again!
HARVEST JAZZ & BLUES is our next volunteer opportunity.
For those who don't know, for the past 10 years, SNAP has volunteered as a group at Harvest to help out the security team at a venue for 3 nights. This year we will be helping out at the MOJO Tent! Since we are volunteering as a group, Harvest pays SNAP an honorarium each year, which goes toward our fundraising efforts.
This year we are looking for volunteers for:
Thursday, September 12 from 6:00 until approx. 1:00 a.m.
Friday, September 13 from 5:00 until approx. 2:00 a.m.
Saturday September 14 from 4:00 until approx. 2:00 a.m.
WE NEED AT LEAST 16 PEOPLE FOR EACH NIGHT.
What do we do? We work in pairs at either 7 or 8 stations throughout the venue. Our job is to make sure people don't come in or go out where they aren't supposed to; to watch for anyone smoking etc. and advise the security team of any incidents that they need to deal with.
We have a LOT of FUN and it's a great opportunity to help out SNAP.

Teaching Calm in Chaos!
How important do you think it is for animals to learn to be relaxed in high stress situations. I had time to kill so Boromir & I found a safe and comfortable spot to camp out to practice calm around traffic. We can’t expect our dogs to be comfortable if we don’t take the time to teach them these skills.
Boromir’s Reveal!!! TaDa!!!!!! The Super Mutt was Kuvasz & Samoyed which I have heard pops up a lot in lots of LiveStock Guardian Dog breeds!! Susan Willis wins!!
BD is so special we have completed a full year of senior care for her grooming needs. I groom her in the floor, bath her in special shampoo additive that helps with aching muscles. I love that in her old age she can may not see, or hear much but she can still look & feel fantastic!!
This morning Boromir was pretty proud of himself when he brought in his favourite ball from outside! I love dogs that can entertain themselves with silliness 😂
