We offer family Trail Rides, Pony Rides, Riding Lessons, Group Events, Girls Riding Camps as well as our Farm Fresh Eggs to the public. Our horses are like family members to us and have been with us for many years. We only use Orthoflex saddles on our horses which means they are always happy to be on the trail and NEVER rush back to the barn. The memory foam in the seat makes it an enjoyable ride

for our customers! Our trails go through our hay fields, along the Trans Canada trail (which runs through the middle of our property), through our hardwood bush and pine forest and a nice stroll up an old country road. Our 4 mile ride takes us to the Crowe River where the horses like to stop for a drink. It is incredibly beautiful at this location. RIDING LESSONS: Our lesson program is currently full and we cannot accept any additional students at this time.

We will be holding a PA Day camp at the farm Nov 22 from 9am until 3pm. (Early drop off and late pick up available to those who need it at an extra cost).
Boys and girls ages 6 to 10 welcome!

In addition to all the other fun plans we have for the day, the kids we'll get a chance to play with our new calf and learn how to milk a cow! $50 per child. We need at least 10 kids to run it. Please message if you are interested.

BARN CLUB at Horsin Around Riding Ranch in Marmora starts up again tomorrow at 9am! Every Saturday from 9am to 12pm for girls 8 up to adults. It's our 4th year running this program. It's a fun morning of learning about life on the farm and tomorrow we are hoping the girls will be the first to meet Jessie's calf. We've brought her into the barn and now we wait. 🥰

The girls will learn how to milk a cow soon and eventually how to halter break a calf. If the calf requires tube feeding, they will learn how to do that as well. They learn how to do health checks on all the animals every week. Last year some learned how to correct a prolapse in a chicken. They will be hands on hooking up gooseneck and bumper pull trailers and learning how to do circle checks. How to use tools to build jumps for the horses they will get to try out or benches. We do pony rides some days and teach the girls how to lead a horse safely. Sometimes we will trail ride if the weather permits. But every Saturday it's about building self esteem and life skills with other girls and women who are so welcoming and supportive of each other.

It's $35 if paid when you arrive or $30 each day if paid upfront at the beginning of the month. (If we have an opening for our lesson program, our club members always have first opportunity at the spots before they are offered to the public). We will be taking everyone to the Can Am horse expo for the 3rd year in March, we have sleepovers in the barn and offer memories not many kids will ever get to experience.

Our In House Barn Show was a huge success today. The girls were amazing as always and parents were there all day long cheering them on. The support they show each other is inspiring and makes us so proud.

Then we rushed off to the awards banquet for Timber Trail Riders. The girls competed at their shows over the summer. This year they created a new award just for us!!! The organizer's were so taken back by the manners these kids have, thanking every individual volunteer after every show, offering to help set up and tear down jumps and barrels. They scooped their p**p along with piles others didn't clean up. They truly went above and beyond and they were presented with the thankful/appreciation award tonight! EDITED to add: three of our group had to leave before the awards but should have also been in the picture. Dot. Haily. Kaitlyn . Our group won a saddle pad, oil supplement, gift cards, charms and a few other things. I won the gift basket I wanted and a $25 gift card to bridle path tack shop. We love our barn family!! I stole some pictures from today from Sandra and Amber. :)

We are so excited to be holding a special overnight camp this year! Girls between 8 -13 will have an opportunity to meet new friends while experiencing nature and all our farm animals along with so many other fun adventures. Friday drop off: 8am to 9am. Saturday pick up 11am. (Girls who do not want to spend the night can go home Friday evening and return Saturday morning). Payment due by Aug 20. We will be donating 25% of the proceeds of this camp to Children's Mental Health in Belleville. We have a Child & Youth Worker with 23 years experience and an Social Service Worker with 30 years experience during the entire camp along with mature camp councilors to make this a super fun time!

CANNING FOR BEGINNERS AND CANNING - MEALS IN A JAR

If you are finding it hard to access or afford groceries at the store, especially in the winter, you won't want to miss this workshop. Our workshop last month was a great day and people have asked for a follow up so here it is!
